Description (if an NPC) or name of your creator(if a PC): Giovanni Santini, one of Al Capone's lieutenants and her lover at the time. Aside from being part of Capone's inner circle Giovanni was also a member of Tàcharan. As near as Val could learn he was turned in about 250 AD and was indeed, from what is modern Sicily, however it isn't clear when his association with Tàcharan began. He wasn't a big man, standing only about 5ft 7in, but very solidly built. He had a way of carrying himself that made him seem much taller. His looks were rather, dashing dark olive skin, dark brown hair, worn short, and dark hazel eyes. His personality took up more room than he did (or does she isn't sure if he is still alive). He very much lived in the moment and did everything with passion; you always knew how he was feeling. Very occasionally, he would go into very dark fits, silent brooding anger. Val never much liked this side of him; it made her uneasy. She much preferred it when he shouted because at least you knew what he was thinking.

Personal Questions

1. Describe your character's personality: To all appearances, Val is quite happy go lucky. She is confidant, boarding on arrogant but most of that is hidden under humor. She is an opportunist and thinks of herself first in any situation. She also has a temper. It might take a bit to set her off but once you have, she won't back down and tends to stop thinking about the consequences.

2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.) Fast and expensive, just like her favorite cars. She always looks good, very chic and clean even in jeans. She appears charming, funny and feels a bit like a sales man some times, a little slick, but basically friendly. Sometimes you might pick put the feeling of something being just a little off with her, an alternate motive or such.

3.What does your character like? She like to go fast, horseback riding at a full gallop, driving a sports car way too fast, She likes to play darts, lurk about in bars or pubs, she like horse races and gambling specifically poker and blackjack and Italian men. Her slang can be a bit outdated.

4. Dislike? Waiting, being bored, dull people

5. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned.

6. What are your fears? Death, more specifically getting caught in the sun, having her head cut off, the end of consciousness, she really doesn't want to die. Even though she pushes the limits and lives fast (as they say) it's something that tugs at the back of her mind. She also has a lingering fear of going to hell thanks to a strict Catholic upbringing. That usually doesn't influence her actions but it can be very real to her. More mundane fears include rats, mimes and being lost.

7. What is your character's strengths and weaknesses? She is charming, she does like people to like her and works at it. She has a good working knowledge of explosives, how to make and plant bombs and is good with a gun, sniper. Arrogant, and a bit short sighted if it doesn't directly effect her she'll probably dismiss it, its something she is working on. She also is impatient and fidgety.

Hobbies & Skills Darts, driving, poker, selling, shooting and horseback riding

Abilities Dream walking, nightmares - Coat of Arms

Flaws - Large teeth

Cosmetic Traits Perfect posture, Val simply doesn't slouch ever. She does still carry some of her Irish accent, especially given her years with the IRA. For the most part, it is masked unless she is emotional.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention Likes long dangly earrings, will roll a coin over the back of her knuckles if she gets fidgety still has an initial distrust of anyone from England. She'll get over it after a meeting or two but she has to think about it. Likes Italian men.

Personal History (Please be detailed, this creates your basis for your character): Molly is first generation American, both of her parents are Irish immigrants. Her father Shamus came to America as a thoroughbred trainer. He had quite the reputation in Ireland but wanted to set out on his own. Arriving in the states, he settled outside of Chicago and set up a small racing stable, training one or two of his own horses and gradually taking on other horses for clients.

He had been in the states for five years before Molly was born. Molly's mother, Bridget, had had several miscarriages before having Molly and had on other miscarriage afterwards. The damage from these numerous miscarriages finally prevented Bridget from having another children, so despite the fact that Shamus and Bridget were very traditional Irish Catholic Molly was an only child.

As an only child, she was very spoiled. She attended a local Catholic school as well as attending Sunday school, but Shamus adored his only child and took her everywhere. Everywhere frequently meant the racetrack, from the stable, to the paddock to the grandstand and clubhouse. From the age of six on Molly was a regular at the races and learned everything her father knew about training, breeding and the industry. She also learned how to ride and at ten, she started working as an exercise rider for her father and a few other trainers. She had dreams of becoming a jockey but was flatly told that wouldn't happen, so she started looking at training, another avenue that was closed off to a woman at that time.

Frustrated, but not enough to give up on exercise riding and hot walking, Molly started looking at the rest of the racing industry. Her limited options lead her back up into the grandstand, without her father's knowledge, and she began gambling. She was good at it too. But between hanging around the backside and putting money down on the races, Molly fell in with the wrong crowd.

It wasn't intentional, but she caught the eye of Giovanni Santini. She wasn't aware of it but Giovanni was one of Al Capone's lieutenants. Oblivious to this flaw Molly believed she was in love. It never struck her as odd that she only saw Giovanni at the track early in the morning while it was still dark out and that they never went out until well after dark. This never bothered her because they were too busy keeping the relationship hidden from her parents. When Shamus finally learned Molly had been deceiving him and who she was going with there was a tremendous falling out. Believing herself in love she left home and began living with Giovanni, she bobbed her hair, longer than was fashionable but still bobbed it, and became a flapper.

Lost in the prohibition world of bootleg liquor, jazz, and the mob Molly was quite happy. She had a certain amount of respect because of her relationship with Giovanni, she was able to play the ponies and do what she wanted. It was February 14, 1929 that changed this. Molly was 22 and still oblivious to the fact that Giovanni was a vampire. When he came home that day, fresh from what would be come one of the most notorious gang killing in history he turned her. She had no choice in the matter and was more than shocked at this turn of events and what she now was. For a long time she hated herself and being a vampire, she'd been Catholic too long (even if it had been in name only for a few years) to adjust to this easily. Giovanni on he other hand was thrilled and began calling her his Valentine. The nickname stuck and she has been Valentine or Val since that day.

Giovanni was a good creator, teaching her and sticking with her for years, even after Capone's empire crumbled. Despite the fact that their relationship grew from lovers to just friends, he also left Valentine extremely well cared for when she finally decided that it was time to leave him.

Cautious with her money, but not too frugal, Val set out to basically enjoy herself. She was able to supplement the sizable sum Giovanni had left her gambling and has never really had a 'job'.

She spent some of her time as a soldier in the Irish Republican Army and had no qualms about shooting, setting explosive and other violent acts to get Ireland's message across. Convinced England would just leave everything status quo if things went solely political, she cut out when people started talking disarming. Although she does still send a good-sized donation every year or so to sources that have the same feelings she does.

Being a fan of fast cars, even the Astin Martin (which she believes to be the only good thing to come out of that bastard country England), she's recently purchased a high-end dealership in New York. Val doesn't work there you understand, she owns it and hires everything out, although she does pop in now and again and will even work the occasional sale for a special client.
