Bio Change Requests

Bio Changes: Request form and notes -

Characters evolve and change, that is understandable. Sometimes you forget to mention something on the bio and you think it really fits your character. PM an admin and ask them about it. If it fits your character and you haven't already gone skill crazy then it should be no problem to add it.

Events change characters as well, perhaps your character that has no self defense type skills gets attacked and now wishes to make sure they are prepared for the next time something like that happens. Any skill that does not fit your character concept would need to be learned. PM an admin and ask if it is ok to begin learning a new skill. Then RP learning it in some fashion. In the case of self defense skills. RP going to a class, mention taking classes etc. When you first use the skill RP be somewhat more familiar with it but still new to it. Like,wow that move really worked! You can work your way up to mastering it in no time just don't expect instant knowledge.

Turning, gifting and other rare events. Turning a human into a vampire or werwolf would be one of the few times where a bio that has already been written would be changed and instant new skills that aren't a part of your normal concept would be added. There might be others but that's the only one I can think of at this time.

If you wish to make a change to your bio, please send a PM to any of us at Staff with the following information:

Portion of your bio you wish to change
Has the part you wish to change been mentioned or used in past RP's?
Explain how you are going to Roleplay this change taking place.

Note on Flaws

Changing flaws after your character has been approved and you begin to roleplay will be difficult and something we will not approve in most cases. There will have to be sufficent reason and a well thought out explanation of why this would occur before we ok it. Once we approve such a change then the character must roleplay the changes occuring over a decent length of time. (I.E. not two threads and that's it)

Notes on Abilities

These are innate within the vampire and werewolves, changing them once they've been RP'd is simply NOT going to happen. If you have not RP'd one of your abilities and feel like it does not fit your character then you may ask to have it changed. If that is approved then you will need to RP discovering the new ability instead. You will NOT be immediately skilled with this ability and will need to roleplay learning how to use it.

New abilities or skills will be just that, new. This means you should not RP long term knowledge of it and should not be very skilled in it.
