Down Time ((very open))
The last few days had been...hectic. In the mornings they crammed a day or two worth of work in four hours and then in the afternoon she and Rachyl had either met with the decorator or been shopping. In the evenings they were unpacking and installing their purchases. Meegan had finally found the man that had done her condo bathroom to come in and bring the master bath into the digital age.
And now she needed some time to herself. She sat on a bench watching the people as the sun began to set. She had ideas on starting a maternity line. She had looked and there didn't seem to be goth maternity wear anywhere. She felt like if a woman wanted to have a baby she should be able to do so in her own personal style. She wanted to split the line, one for her boutiques and another to go alongside the Hot Topic lines.
She had drawn every pregnant woman she'd seen. She needed to study the lines of the pregnant body in order to fit it with the best coth and lines to give the wearer comfort and the Gothic-ah sense of style.
A roaming officer had checked on her, once. She showed him her drawings and her ID and he'd left her alone. She supposed that a woman bundled into a long black coat, with black jeans covered in chains, with a thick black cap over pinkish hair, would look strange as she sat and stared at people then scribbled on a pad. Or she just might look like an artist, some people had no dimension.
She watched as a woman heavy with child walked hand in hand with a man, he seemed happy and frightened as he spoke and put his hand on her belly. Meegan's pencil flew across her paper, trying to capture the profile before it moved on.
(Feel free to join her, she doesn't mind interruption))
"It is simply the way of man. He who has the best cave and the most furs is better than he who has the smallest cave and only one fur, regardless that the lesser man is the happier."
She smiled, and gave a small chuckle. "Forgive me, my recent subject of interest has made me philosophical."
She tucked her sketch pad into the briefcase at her feet and a frigid wind blew up her coat. Shivering she looked around to get her bearings.
"There is a tiny Indian coffee house around the corner. I'd be honored if you joined me. We could get out of this chill and enjoy a fabulous cup of coffee."
Not to mention it had grown incredibly dark and Meegan didn't think she would ever be comfortable with the dark again.
Yuu reached into her pocket book and pulled out a card. 'If you don't mind, I'm feeling rather tired and feel like calling it a day. A cup of coffee right now will only have me bouncing off the walls into the wee hours of the evening.' She held out her business card to Miss Masters and smiled.
'Hopefully we can take a rain check?' Yuu's business card was new and she could feel the embossed lettering under her fingertips. She didn't make it a point to introduce herself by title, but hopefully the card would be self explanatory.

"I fear for the walls, should that happen," he said in response to Yuu.
He did turn to Meegan, however, and offer his free arm. "I regret that we cannot accompany you, Miss Masters. I too would take a rain check - I am here on business for the next few weeks, staying at the Piazza. We have a cab waiting at the gates... you are welcome to share it if you need."
Meegan's acceptance forthcoming, Tai escorted both women out of the gardens to the waiting taxi. The Piazza was closest, so Tai made sure to leave the driver enough to cover Meegan's ride home as well as a substantial tip, before bidding the woman farewell and helping Yuu from the cab.
