Dinner with a side of Shopping (attn Amberelle)
((Continued from Coffee for one
Ginnie had worn hunting clothes this night, all of which were covered up by her black wool trench coat. As the exited the car, she pulled a black wind breaker from the pocket of the coat. She replaced her coat with the wind breaker, revealing a double shoulder holster and her standard black bullet proof vest. She had a knife at each ankle as well as a gun on her right ankle. At her hips she carried pepper spray, bowie knife, a small tear gas canister; that looked deceptively like a second pepper spray, and small lock pick set in a leather pouch that Alec had given her.
There was a small .28 caliber pistol in an inner pants holster down the small of her back, a pen bomb in her pocket and two small knives sheathed at her wrists. An even dozen always made her feel safer. Not that she was in much danger from the loosers they would be hunting, but one could never be to careful.
She smoothed a hand over her plack leather pants and zipped her jacket half way. She'd remove it when they were in a less public area and stuff it into a pocket of her vest. She had emergency repelling gear in one of those pockets as well as tissues and baby wipes. Yep, Ginnie would have made a great boy scout. "Be Prepared." She giggled and walked around the car, to lean gingerly on the hood.
"So, do you want to hit the fountain and find two teenagers going at it like rabbits, or skulk around between buildings?"
Finding him covered in his own filth, the leopard hissed, barring his mouth full of large fangs. With one paw he flipped the man over. Raking his claws down the cleanest pants leg he exposed the meaty muscle of the calf. With a curl of his lip he smelled the drug running through his meal's system. That made him angrier than the filth. A vicious bite to the lower leg and Cyrus gulped down one mouthfull of flesh and blood. The hunger apeased he began tearing the man apart with his claws. Soon what small amount of life left the bloody husk.
Shaking his paws clean he lept into the fountain to clean up. The circulating water soon washed away the blood and gore and Cyrus climbed to a clean spot on the concrete. Realizing that he may have an audiance shortly after shaking his fur dry, the slighly fluffy cat looked up. Shifting sheepishly he tugged on his ear piercing and apologized for his behavior.
"Sorry about that, I should have expected the taint but I did not and my temper got the better of me. I hope you ladies did not mind me crashing your meal." He knew he should go, he could feel the drug circulating through his own system and the urge to curl up in the forrest to wait it out was strong.
"Pleasure seeing you both, I hope we can meet again sometime Ginnie. And perhaps a garden romp soon Amberelle. Goodevening to you both." His bow was polite and to them both as he began to move towards the shadows.
((Out pending responses, thanks for letting me join the dinner party.))
Amberelle swallowed hard and turned away slightly. She occupied herself with keeping an eye out. She repeated to herself 'I will not be sick. I will not judge..' In her short life she'd done some things she wasn't proud of, and had killed far more than she ever wanted to remember, but never had she done something so.. violent. Or messy. Sure she had toyed with her food sometimes and roughed them up but this was just so much more primal. The blonde respected her clan mate even more for keeping something like that in control.
Only after she heard Cyrus done with splashing clean and back on the sidwalk did she look back. She gave him a warm smile and shook her head. Non, I didn't mind at all. Amby was concerned for him now, he'd drank tainted blood and it would effect him. But she didn't want to risk offending him in front of another Clan by offering him help, so she refrained from offering to drive him to the Manor. She would just check on him before dawn to make sure he was OK.
After he had moved away she looked at Ginnie. Wanna get out of here and hit the mall now? She grinned.
"To each his own, Cyrus."
Ginnie pulled a purple business card from the top most pocket of her vest and tossed it at him like a playing card. She gave it a tiny shove with her mind, but it landed neatly in his out streached hand. She gave him a small bow of her own.
"I do hope we meet again. Be careful with where you find rest, and enjoy the rest of your night."
She looked over the area and made sure she scented no other humans above the copper scent of blood that filled the air. Confident that it was now just her Amberelle and the disappearing Cyrus, she pulled the windbreaker back out of her vest and put it on, zipping it half way.
"Sure, I could do with some shopping."
Ginnie grinned at Amberelle and started out of the fountain area. The bodies didn't bother her, it looked like a drug deal gone bad and then some feral creature picked over one of the bodies.
Now what Amby was thinking about was shopping. She was fed, had gotten a taste of combat to get the adrenaline pumping and was now out and about with a potential new girl-friend. It was time to wander the mall and talk clothes and guys. It was all she could do to supress a giddy giggle, it had been far too long since she'd indulged in that.
Once they reached the Aston she popped the trunk and went about a reverse of her previous steps. Each piece was checked over and then placed in its proper case. Once she was satisfied everything was back in position and secure, she unfolded her mink edged jacket and slipped it on.
So, what are you in the mood for? Shoes... maybe some spa goodies? Amby beamed at Ginnie and hoped for a reason to buy new shoes. Or at least try some on.
"Shoes are always a great thing to shop for. But id we are going to be doing a lot of shopping I need to stop by my car and unload some of my arsenal."
Grinning she lowered herself into the car and nearly purred along with the engine. Her body was humming with her recent meal, and the anticipation of shopping with another woman. She liked this car, a lot, but it wouldn't have enough room for her stuff.
No problem.. next stop Ginnie's car! Tapping the gas lightly she let the engine rev a little as it warmed. Please remain seated and keep all hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times.... she giggled then shifted into gear and spun out of her parking spot in a squeal of tires and exhaust.
((OOC out and back to the strip pending Gin's responses))
