Coffee and more? - attn. Panos (Private)
It had been a nice walk from the docs down to the strip, still holding onto Paul's arm they had been talking quietly, she had found out he was in Tàcharan like her which gave her a more relaxed feeling.
The strip was still busy at this time of night, people talking and laughing, having fun with eachother, looking at the many bars and cafe's Alex looked up at Paul.
"So what will it be, coffee? something stronger? you make the call"
Smiling she looked around, she hadn't felt this carefree for a long time.. come to think of it she probably hadn't feel like this in.. like forever, it felt so good to be with someone of her own "family" someone who she didn't have to keep her guard up every single minute.
He nodded in the direction of a little run down building brightly lit with green neon lights in the shapes of shamrocks and hats. Derby's the sign out front read. It was a block further from where they were.
I do have to be honest with you though. Tacharan was my last home, currently I am clanless. There was.....a slight mishap that got me a wonderful escourt out of the domicile and I haven't been back. I havent had a problem with the clan since which has left me a very happy and undisturbed little man.
She seemed so carefree and fearless and they had just met. He liked it. She wasn't afraid of him and why would she be, she was a vampire too wasnt she? But still he didnt feel he was trying to be someone he was not. Also she wasnt on his list as a snack before she became a person of interest. That always helped.
When did you join? I hadn't seen you during my little stay.
"Sure, the place the looks ok to me"
Walking side by side she listened to him talk about getting thrown out of Tacharan, nodding now and then at what he told her, she did wonder what really happend for him to get escorted out, something must have been up.. wrinkling her nose she shrugged, O well it really wasn't her business to pry into someone private afairs.
When did you join? I hadn't seen you during my little stay.
"About 2 months ago, I kept a very low profile during my first weeks there, didn't know anyone there.. to be honest I hardly know anyone except for Shay and a few others"
Stopping when they reached the pub she looked at the big green sigh above their heads, boy was it bright, pushing open the door she made a gesture for him to go first.
"After you"
Not the classiest place in town but still feels comfy.
He saw the waitress making her way over and when she approached he ordered a coffee drink.
A Irish coffee and not the Baileys one. With whiskey please, and whatever the lady is having.
He turned his attention back to Alexandra.
I think it's going on five months since i've been out of the clan. Fortunatly Ellis wasn't in a mood or i'd not met another evening on my own. The whole 'Dont get caught' rule is definatly held tight. Just how bad does that make me then, if even the the bad vampires have kicked me out. He laughed a little sarcastically. It was really no sweat off his back that Tacharan didnt want him. He had never tried to fit into the other two clans. Clans were rules and guidelines. He was fine without them, wasnt he?
How did you meet Shay if you don't mind me asking?
"Experso, make it a double, no sugar, no cream just coffee"
Watching her walk of she turned back to Paul (or Panos) as he began to talk again, so he had been out for 5 months, interesting she had been clanless for almost her whole undeath life and now she was part of a clan.. while he was just out of one.
"I believe that a person is as bad as she/he wants to be, same applies for being good, I don't believe in being either good or evil, everyone has a dark and light side.. even us.. none humans"
Just then the waitress returned with their order, thanking her she took her coffee, smelling it first she took a small sip, looking back up at Paul as he asked her how she met Shay.
"I cam into Tacharan just after the whole Ellis thing happend and Simon took over, there was a meeting explaining what happend, I didn't know a soul except for Carol who well you know the deal with Carol.. Shay was the first to talk to me, she offered me the seat next to her and we got talking, we're not exactly close friends but I like her, what about you?
Taking another sip of her coffee she looked at him.
He thought about what she said about being good and bad. The whole light and dark. He supossed it could be true, with some people having more darkness inside of them and then acting on it. The theory of good and being a vampire just didnt fit together to him.
Funny story about Shay. I was actually going to kill her, Sort of. I was out hunting and ran into her. Somehow her lack of fear changed that. She didn't know what i was up too of course but she changed my mind without even realizing it. She still only knows me by my modern name Paul but I also go by Panos. Since that night we've hung out a few times and have always gotten along well. Much to the chargrin of her significant vampire other Randy Savage. You may know him as Mathias. He is also a part of your clan. One of the couple people who would love to see me have an accident. I'm not too pumped about his whole making her his familiar thing...but what are ya gonna do. He shrugged.
Are you enjoying Nachton so far? It's a very interesting city. I've been to many different places all claiming to be the home of the underworld but i have found this place actually lives up to a title like that.
Taking another sip she thought about his question if she was enjoying Nachton.
"I guess, it's an ok City, much like other big cities I've been to, i've traveled alot, mainly across Europe, this is my first time living in the US, what about you have you been here long?"
She still only knows me by my modern name Paul but I also go by Panos.
"Panos.. that's Greek right?"
She had been to Greece many times while still living in Europe, she loved the islands, thinking back to the mild climate and wonderful beaches made her smile, sometimes she mised Europe more then she was willing to admit to anyone but herself.
He liked how it was easy to talk with her. It was also a bit funny to talk to someone about almost killing another person and having it just dust off their shoulders. No horrified looks or cringes. No distastful glances. It was also a benefit that she was beautiful. He felt mildly awkward but it seemed he was having a easier time not being an ass than usual.
I've been in the city about eight months. I was drawn here by all the rumors i was hearing, though ive been in the states probally since the mid 60's. What would attract a beautiful woman like you to this dark dank part of the world if you've been through Europe?
"O yes, many times, I love the islands, I've lived on Corfu for a while.. until the sudden deaths began to draw attention"
Smirking she winked at him, licking her lips she let out a soft laughter, pushing back a stray strand of hair she took hold of her braid, taking out the leather band holding it together she quickly took the braid out making her hair fall down in waves reaching the small of her back.
"I came here for the same reason you did, rumors, wanted to see for myself if this was really the vampire paradise everyone was talking about.. sofar it hasn't been much of a paradise to me.. the food is good, got a nice appartment, hell I even had amazing sex"
Bitting her bottom lip at that remark she looked into his eyes for a moment before looking down at her hands, taking the leather band she put it in one of her jean pockets, looking back up she mentally kicked herself for saying that.. stupid.. why'd you have to bring up the sex.. what you haven't had enough drama fucking an other clan member.. sure mind blowing blood play sex.. but he's in the past.. time to move on.
He laughed as she bit her lip. She had released her hair and there was alot of it. It was stunning really how it wrapped itself aorund her like a cloak. Canvasing her shoulders. He was tempted to reach out and touch her hair but resisted.
Well you're off to a better start than I had, thats for sure. So far I've got three other vampire men after me, and not in a good way. I don't swing that way but i would imagen it could be fun to have a little clan of "Me" groupies following me around. I found a long lost relative who I thought was dead and that was a bonus, but then I bonded myself to her out of neccessity one evening. I turned a girl and then fell asleep for a long time unable to awake, oh and i've appeared on the news once already.
He leaned back in his chair.
Let's switch. He said with a wicked grin.
Let's switch. He said with a wicked grin.
"Hmm what about we make sure you have some mind blowing sex and have good food? will that make us even?"
Signaling the waitress she waited for her to show up, turning back to Panos she raised an eyebrow.
"How about something other then coffee.. I would say come back to my place for a drink.. but well you know that is not such a good idea right now"
Grinning she crossed her legs, wondering how he would react to her teasing.
Well, i'm certainly not homeless. I have a little place just outside of town. Seclusion has me. Though i am debating having to blindfold you to take you out there. He laughed as he was only semi serious.
Chryseis would have a wonderful time lashing him a new one if she found out. But that was IF she found out, and who knows, this could possibly not end up bad. The evening of the Ball she had warned him to quit putting himself in danger. Just because Alexandra was in Tacharan didn't mean certain doom. Ellis was gone and there was a chance that Simon had no clue of what had happened. Fallon was joining Anantya and her pal was also in that clan but Mathias was Tacharan. Would he use his clan ties to try and seek him out? Aron was a fruitcake and it had been quiet from his camp even after the dead woman incident. Plus he was Evenhet. He was pretty much screwed on all clan aspects. He'd have to trust someone other than Chryseis one day.
They had only just met but why not. What could this one vampire do to him that the other three hadn't?
With a mental shrug he waved the waitress over for the bill. Dropping the cash on the table he turned back to Alexandra.
It's not in walking distance so it may have to be a cab ride. Don't worry I promise you'll make it back.
"And here I thought you were the kind of men who wasn't into that"
Laughing softly she watched him pay for their drinks, so he was a real gentleman paying for her like that, pushing her chair back she extended her hand to him while standing up.
"I always make my way back.. lead the way kind sir I'm putting myself in your hands"
Waiting for him to lead her out of the pub she gave him a half smile the mischief clearly readable in her eyes.
(( ooc. Alexandra out pending responce ))
Right this way m'lady. He said with an over exagerated british accent.
He lead her outside to catch a cab. It shouldnt be hard at this time of the night in front of a pub. Cabbies were always on the look out for drunks.
(ooc: panos out!)
