Afternoon Research
Mosi had been very busy lately. Settling into life here in America, Nachton specifically, integrating with the pack, and lately settling into his home away from home. Unfortunately he found himself needing to concentrate on his schoolwork. Economics was demanding a lot of his attention lately. His professor had assigned a research project to them which required him to venture to the city library to unearth the information.
Since he simply needed to review the books, Wall Street Journal archives and use one of the shonky computers available, Mosi had not bothered to venture to the counter or acquire a card. If his prof needed more of him, he would do so, but for now he figured everything could be done in one night if he applied himself. It was still early, only 4 pm yet, but since the moon was waning he could spend however long it took.
In no time he found himself staking out a rather large table and piling econ books atop it. The newspapers were unfindable so he worked on reading the ethics from the books first. He would venture to find the libarian soon as he was done with this mob.

"Spicy can sometimes make me chunder. I would hate to have to take a sickie." Thinking for a moment he rubbed his hatted head once more. "Do you know if there is a deli close by? I could bog in on a roast beef sandwich."
Hopefully the other library patrons did not mind him yabbering on so, nor the sheila and he chatting up like they were.
"Actually yes I believe there is one around the corner. Perhaps not quite around the corner but not a long walk."Â?
Of course, her idea of not a long walk and other peoples' didn't always match but thinking about the directions for a second she decided it was close by any one's standards just two blocks.
"I could give you directions if you'd like."Â?
"Thank you, directions would be quite helpful."
From the deli he could ask about the bus route, though it was pretty easy to follow and if nothing else he could walk home. Taking a taxi was always an option but he preferred to keep his money when the public transportation was so handy and cheap.
She accepted the paper and pulled a pen out from her own tote
"It really isn't far."Â?
In nice even penmanship she clearly jotted down the directions and even added a small map, despite the fact that it was very easy to get to.
As she handed the paper back she noticed what seemed to be a sketch, and while it looked lovely she refrained from commenting. It was just more natural to be reserved than to come right out and say something.
"Does that make sense?"Â?
Most women would not offer a strange man a ride even if he looked harmless. Perhaps people were just friendlier than he had been told in Nachton. Most certainly seemed that way. Though she was not a delicate little thing compared to some of the sheila's he had seen since arriving. If he recalled standing in line, they were the same height which could account for her seeming unconcern. It was nice though, compared to his cold and frightened classmates to be treated nicely even if he was a stranger. Standing there with a warm expression on his face he watched her write so neatly the directions.
Mosi took a moment to read it over and plot it out on the map before responding to her question. It was very straightforward really and she had noted what he hoped was all the turns. Nodding
he offered her a gloved hand to shake.
"Thank you very much, this seems easy enough. Much appreciated as well."
Nikhila said with a smile. Such a nice young man, she decided. He'd been quite polite and pleasant, of course was probably holding him up as well.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, I wish you luck with you studies."Â?
It would be good to get back in a classroom and speaking to him, even briefly, reinforced that. Of course speaking of that she had work to do and with a faint nod turned and left him.
((OOC... out))
Mosi smiled and left the nice woman to her own work. The trip from the library caused him to see the nice librarian with the glasses who he waved at silently in thanks for her assistance. The walk to the deli was not long at all and soon he had a pleasantly fully stomach and a seat on the bus back home.
