Lingerie? Ooo lala (( very very open ))
There were a few things a woman could never have enough of, lingerie was one of those things, at least according to Alexandra, parking her midnight black BMW Z3 near the strip she walked the last part towards the shops, her long nearly black hair was held back by a simple silver clip which she once bought in 19th century Paris, the silver had aged over the years but the metal hadn't lost it's shine and sparkle, her outfit casual but stylish, noone in their right mind would think that this young woman was an assassin, a vampire who killed just as easily as she bought a new set of lingerie.
Spotting a Victoria Secrets store, she headed inside, finding a couple of pieces to her liking she causally browsed the store in search for that one special set she was looking for, spotting a black and pink matching set she added it to her basket while chatting with the sales girl who came to assist her.
"Anything to your liking miss? we have a whole new line of exclusive lace and embroidered bra's and panties if you would like to take a look"
Following the girl over to the newest batch of luxury lingerie she smiled to herself imagining the look on Panos' face when she showed him her latest purchases.
Sliding out of her seat the tall vampire rocked up onto her toes slightly, a slow ripple moving through her athletic form as she stretched. Tossing the brunette a smile that was part challenge and part invitation Amby moved out onto the empty dance floor. The song playing was upbeat, fast and had a solid rhythm to it. Spinning agilely on one foot the Creole laughed and tossed her unruly golden mane as she began to move to the music. Decades of lessons were thrown aside as she simply began to move to the music, letting herself go and get lost in the sheer joy that dancing always brought her. It wasn't about form or convention but simply a primal response to the sounds flowing into her. Her eyelids fluttered closed over her honey colored eyes as a smile curled the corners of her mouth upwards. Alexa, the bar, everyone around her just faded from her mind. For this moment she was simply one with the song.
The song changed to one by Tiesto, the song like the previous one had a great beat to it, like Amby she had been thought to dance the proper way, having been born in 16th century France had formed her in many way, even if she didn't have any memories of her human life the basics of her upbringing were still rooted deep down inside, moving alongside Amberelle the two woman grinned at eachother as they danced on, it sure felt hella good to let loose like this, hollers and howls came from the men at the bar as they watched the two women dance.
Amberelle's cheeks were a soft pink and were the only sign of her exertions as she carefully controlled her breathing. Her earlier claim to be able to dance for hours if left uninterrupted was no boast, and the Creole barely felt an effect after several furiously fast, bass thumping songs. A slower song came on and she arched an eyebrow at Alexandra. Holding out a delicate hand to the shorter woman, the vampire gave her a playfull wink before practically purring, May I have this dance?
As Gavin Degraw's "More then anyone" began to play Alex smiled, she loved this song with passion, taking Amby's hand in her own she made a graceful kneebend, one that wouldn't have mis stood in 16th century France, a small smile graced her lips as she remembered that time and age, sometimes she missed it's elegance and grace, the way of dressing and the polite way people interacted.
"It would be my pleasure kind miss"
Moving to the slow song both women were lost in their private world, people who watched them would never have guessed they only met a few hours ago, their bodies moved in perfect sync, not missing a step as they did a graceful dance to the song.
Alexa placed a hand on the small of Amby's back, bringing the other woman closer so they were pressed together closely, more howls and catcalls came from the men at the bar but neither of them noticed or cared enough to respond as almost black and golden eyes met, smiling a gentle smile Alexa was drawn into those golden eyes, yes she could clearly see why anyone would drown in those eyes.
I haven't has this much fun in... ages! Too bad none of them have had the guts to come up to us yet. Shooting them down is half the fun. Her head dipped as she smiled and giggled some. To the rest of the bar's patrons it was the soft whispers of a lover, which only added to the allure they were projecting.
It occured to the Anantya as the pair moved and she studied the almost salivating crowd over Alexandra's shoulder that she might be able to coax some cocky, half drunk man into a dark corner and get a quick bite in. Nibbling on her lower lip lightly, she tried to decide how to broach the whole 'Are you a vampire? Wanna grab a bite?' line of questioning with her dance partner. Certainly Amberelle felt confident that her companion was after spying the distinctly pointed tips in the other woman's smile and their talk of 'families'. But discretion was called for always. Deciding it would be best to offer information on herself first and hope that was incentive for Alexa to open up, she leaned back and smiled at her wide enough to let her own subtly, but distinctly, pointed canines show.
So tell me, mon ami, would it bother you to know I was Anantya? Watching her face for a reaction carefully, Amby decided if she was completely off base about the Frenchwoman's lack of sunlight tolerance she would just shrug it off as a family name.
((OOC bah so I got the tall one and the short one mixed up, sue me )
"We will have to send Victoria's Secret a thank you note for introducing us"
Winking she stepped back some, he left hand casually resting on Amby's hip, watching the other woman as she smiled her eyes darkened, she could clearly make out the tip of a fang and humans didn't have fangs like that.
She held her breath as Amby spoke, it was as if time stood still for a moment, all she heard were the words bother and Anantya, licking her suddenly dry lips she took Amby's hand in her own, pulling her towards one of the more quieter spots of the bar, her eyes had turned a deep black color, something she knew happened when she was either excited or on guard, in her line of job and being a rogue vampire she had to be aware of what she was doing all the time, slipping up could mean the end of her.
"Yes I know what Anantya is, continue"
She didn't want to come off this strict and straight forward, but she had to protect herself, she didn't feel Amby was a threat to her, but what was she to do, stand in the middle of a club and go "Yes I know and guess what I'm a blood sucking vampire who is clanless and so is my boyfriend who has half of Anantya after him"
Blinking at the other woman, Amby just shrugged, obviously not quite sure what to say. I.. I was just.. well, I kind of had a feeling maybe you were.. you know.. like me. And umm.. her voice trailed off and she sighed. I didn't mean to upset you Alexandra. Her mouth scrunched up and her brow furrowed.
I don't care what clan you are, I have friends in the others.. and human friends too. Pausing she tried to see what the other woman was thinking.
"I'm like you, I've been what we are for a few hundred years"
Taking a deep breath she calmed her nerves, her eyes turning back to their natural dark brown color, she didn't want to scare Amberelle away, she liked the other woman very much and she felt they could become great friends, but it was hard to trust anyone, even harder to trust another vampire.
"I'm not with any of the clans, I'm rogue and staying that way, at least until I decide where things take me, I've had some bad experiences with a few people in Anantya that's why I reacted the way I did, nothing to do with you what so ever, how about we find a more private boot and talk about this over a drink"
A low growl rumbled in her throat and her demeanor shifted. The blonde straightened slightly, her posture giving off a very confident, and dangerous, air. Widening her smile slightly to an almost preditory snarl, she simply shook her head gently no, and then stepped back a half step to give the men room to exit. The women ignored their mutterings and complaints as they gathered up their drinks and cleared out of the booth.
The Anantya allowed the rogue vampire the prime spot of her back against the wall and slid in across from her. Before Amby could even open her mouth a waitress was there with their unfinished bottle of tequila and two fresh glasses. She gave them both a shy but flirtatious smile which made the blonde grin. Anything to get a better tip, she supposed.
She leaned back and crossed her legs, slouching in a relaxed pose. Waiting until they were alone again before speaking, Amby tilted her head slightly sideways and studied the dark haired vampire.
Well I'm afriad you have age on me, I'm only 30. I've been... me, she waved at herself vaguely, for almost 13 years now. But I was raised in an Anantya household. Pausing for a breath, she plunged into the question that had her most curious. So, why did you go rogue? I mean... I almost did when I left New Orleans, and I probably would have if they had not accepted me here, but.. it's so dangerous.. why would you? Having actually hunted rogue vampires, Amberelle knew what a hard and dangerous existance it could be. That was what had caused her to seek the protection and shelter her clan could provide her, and she was impressed that anyone would choose to take such a course knowing the risks.
So Amby was a young one, she seemed to be full of life experience, but one was never old enough to learn.
"Where to start, I was born in 1580 near Paris but then you already knew that, I stayed on the continent till I moved to Nachton last year"
Pouring them both a glass of tequila she raised her glass, slamming it down in one swift motion she enjoyed the warmth it brought to her body, smiling she leaned back in her seat, the question why one would become a rogue was one she had been expecting, most young vampires or vampires in general didn't understand why you would chose to be clanless.
"I used to be with Tacharan, I joined them right before the big change in power over there, lets just say I didn't fit in and I really don't feel like trying my luck with any of the other clans around here"
Brushing her hair back she recrossed her legs, looking towards the bar for a moment she got a glimpse of the men they had shooed away earlier, they were watching her and Amby talk, throwing them a dark glare she curled her upper lip in a slight snarl, she saw one of the men's eyes widen and turn to his buddy, not giving him any more attention she turned back to Amby.
"I've been working as an assassin for centuries, I'm a big girl, believe me when I tell you that I am more then capable to take care of myself, being in a clan gives you protection, without one you're out there to be hunted and killed, I'm very aware of that.. but that doesn't make me want to give up my own identity."
I can relate to you better than you could imagine.. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back and gave the dark heaired beauty a rueful smile. Except, I came here to Nachton to join up with my Clanmates to be able to have my identity rather than lose it. I was an assassin as well, for quite a few years at my Sire's requirement. Even before I was turned.. my first kill was when I was only fourteen. Pouring them both another shot of the clear liquor, she continued speaking as she swirled it gently, staring into the glass pensively.
Nowdays I focus more on the covert entry and aquisitions aspects of my training. I figure I spent my youth killing and making money for everyone else, I want to take some time to build my fortunes up and decide how I want the rest of my long life to go. On my own terms.
It was just them, the bar around them faded away, no more music, no more men, just Amby and Alexa, sitting there talking, touching each others hand, getting lost in each others eyes, these two women who never met before today got lost in their little world, a little world they created in a few hours.
As it became later and later in the night they left the bar, not sure of where to go, but neither of them was ready to say goodbye, what was next would be decided in the course of the night, but one thing was sure, it wasn't ending here.
(( ooc. Amby and Alexandra out, please lock thread ))
