Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (Private, Bastian)

It had taken the better part of the day but Reign had cleaned the house from top to bottom. Everything had been washed, vacuumed or dusted as appropriate (even the dog much to Sirius' dismay). She told herself it just needed to be done but really, she was a little nervous and the cleaning had kept her mind off things and made the place presentable.

She'd asked Will for time, how much time, well that would depend on Bastian wouldn't it? Enough of that she needed to get dressed. It seemed silly to get so dressed up at home but jeans and a t-shirt didn't seem right either. She settled on a silk wrap top with a low V-neck in a bright sapphire blue and light gray wool pants. No jewelry though, and no shoes either, it was casual wasn't it?

With that done, she gave one last once over to the dinner she brought in. Hey just because she could clean didn't mean Reign was a cook. It was set out on the coffee table rather than the dining room, she didn't feel like ruining the organized chaos of her research. Dinner was more finger foods than anything, sushi, egg rolls, veggie sticks, cut up melon, and a few other random things. Hell, she'd even managed to stash a bottle of white wine in the fridge.

So that meant she was prepared right? Well not really but there wasn't anything else she could do just now. Reign perched on the couch to wait and eyed her furry friend.

"Yes I suspect you know Bastian is coming over tonight. I expect you to be a gentleman, its possible we'll be seeing more of him, and I'm rather fond of him."Â?

Sirius cocked his head, chuffed and lay down at her feet chewing at one of his toys.

"You're a brilliant conversationalist aren't you? Will you get the door when he comes then?"Â?

She wanted to fall back on the couch and relax, but she might wrinkle things. God, did she just think that? Just for that once she'd made her impression she was slouching the rest of the night and sprawling on couch in as un-ladylike manner as she could manage.

Another glance at the clock; he wasn't late, she was just ready early and it was killing her.

“I am a man? I think we are born knowing how to remove women’s clothing.” He was far from serious, and chortled as he answered, though he suspected her question had been rhetorical.

Considering he was now ready to move a little more quickly, and had yet to remove his own clothes, Bastian did what he could to assist Reign. She did nothing to really make the job easier, but right now he could care less. He doubted there had been more than a handful of days over the past several years in which he hadn’t thought about her at least once. And in those thoughts were fantasies about how they would reunite, or reignite.

It was nice to see those fantasies now coming true.

Amid her kisses, and his persistent hands, somehow Bastian did soon find himself as nude as she was, and the feel of her skin next to his stoked his flame even further.

Feeling amazingly powerful, as if the electricity between the two of them once combined, was almost insurmountable, Bastian maintained control, and kept his fires simmering while Reign had her way. Eventually he reached the point where he really did feel like he would spontaneously combust if he didn’t pick up where he had left off, and took both her hands in his.

“Cara…” He almost croaked, so fraught with emotion, and passion.

He kissed both hands, and released her, only to then recapture her with his hands on her hips. As he looked up into her eyes, Bastian slowly brought Reign forward, and stopped just as he found himself teasing her moist entrance. Instinctively, Bastian’s own hips rose, and he pulled her closer, sucking in his breath sharply. Though he wanted to thrust into her hard, and soundly, sweat beaded up on his lip as he forced himself to go slowly.

“Madre dios…Reign…I have missed you, and loved you…love you.”

Feeling it imperative that he make his confession ‘before’ they were joined, once said he grabbed her sharply, and thrust simultaneously, and felt himself finally home again.

So, she wasn't a feme fetal, or overly coordinated with something, but damned it that had never stopped them before and it sure didn't seem to be stopping them, or even slowing them down now. The important thing is the barriers were out of the way.

She was ready, anxious, needy and otherwise two seconds from becoming demanding; and now he was teasing. It really was too much, but in the best possible way. If it hadn't been for that overwhelming desire for immediate satisfaction, she might have believed they'd never been apart.

His voice filtered through to one of the few parts of her brain still capable of rational thought and her eyes sought his. Somewhere in their play her glasses had been cast aside, and with her luck were now broken beyond repair, and there was nothing, not even glass between them. She believed him, right here, right now she believed him.

In their relationship, Bastian had always been the one able to more easily vocalize his feeling, and here again that held true. Reign had no answer for him. And even if she had, she couldn't have expressed as she was fully overcome by having him all to herself again, as it were. All she could answer with was a low hum of pleasure that stuck somewhere in her throat. So what if it was cliché, she didn't care, right at that point, she couldn't care she had so much more to think about, she was driving after all wasn't she?

Her plan had been a long, slow, sweet reunion but here and now with everything, she was feeling that was no longer a possibility. Having started off slowly she quickly became more aggressive passions building much faster than she had thought they would. But what the hell there was always next time for slow and sweet. They'd both waited too long for this moment to put it off any longer.

Her silence was reassuring in that it was a confirmation that some things never changed.

Bastian had been Reign’s first lover, and credited himself with showing her a lot about lovemaking. Yet in that same vein, he had learned a lot himself, and the differences between having sex, and making love. He never just had sex with Reign, ever. And before her, he had done nothing but.

Not that Bastian was much of a talker either, but it was a pretty good bet that if anyone said anything while they were in bed together, it would be Bastian. He was completely at ease in that position.

For the time being his mind was a little too occupied with the physical goings on, to say much, and he instead used his mouth to better purposes.

It was taking all his willpower to throw all caution to the wind, and let himself go, her satisfaction be damned. But if there was one thing Bastian had come to learn, through all his wolf travails, it was that patience always paid off. And learning to control his desires had become second nature.

As soon as she began to show the side of her he hadn’t seen in years, Bastian growled. The loudness and strength of his voice carried throughout the house in a manner that startled even him. With his hands helping to guide her, and his body now moving of its own accord, he fought to keep the pace they’d set. They were both getting close, and nothing short of the roof caving in upon them would stop him.

Thoughts of condoms, and birth control made themselves known, and then disappeared just as quickly as they had come. There was nothing in his medical history that he felt she should fear, and he trusted her implicitly in the same regard. He also had no reason to think she wouldn’t be on the pill, or some form of pregnancy prevention. One thing Reign had never minced words about was her inability to see herself as a mother. It was a topic Bastian would never agree with, but now was not a time to revisit it.

Between pulling her down close enough to grab her nipples in his lips, and pushing himself up inside her, Bastian alternated back and forth. Soon his movements had grown forceful, and rapid, and he focused all his energy on waiting for her. When he began to feel the old familiar spasms of her body around his, and only then, did he let himself go, and the room filled with a litany Italian words describing his love, and his thanks at the gift she had again given him.

It was the growl that caught her attention, the rest was a fantastic delicious blur. But the growl... something about it made her laugh. It was perfect, it was both completely Bastian. He was both and that was fine, they could manage it. It wouldn't be a 'normal' relationship and certainly it would have some complications but screw it all it would work. God knew they were both stubborn enough.

Knowing that, believing it for even just this second she gave up and let herself go. Some things couldn't be stopped and what he was doing to her body was one of them. She wasn't a screamer, never had been, but when all she could see was stars Reign gave a low moan and collapsed on top of him. After a few seconds of heavy breathing she propped herself up and very softly kissed him.
Bastian 17 years ago
With her laughter still ringing in his ears, Bastian hugged Reign close. It was somewhat of a relief that she had collapsed on his chest, since he was momentarily safe from her scrutiny. Being still so full of emotions, he was terrified of scaring her away by overwhelming her with the love that still spilled from him.

Able to recapture his poise, Bastian returned her soft kiss, and smiled when she propped herself up next to him. Turning on his side, he leaned into his hand in the same way, and gently caressed her hip with his fingers.

“Is it only me, or did that seem better than remembered? I must admit, there was a small part of me that…well, over the years I was afraid I had built things up in my mind. Sometimes I really did wonder if my memories had been real, or a little exaggerated by youth.”

Holding her hip firmly, Bastian leaned toward Reign, and mimicked her earlier kiss.

“But…after that…I can honestly say either my memories had faded some, or, well…”

Struck by the absurdity of his thoughts, and the fact that he was voicing them aloud, Bastian laughed again, and rolled onto his back. His eyes remained on hers, hoping he would see understanding, but prepared for dismay. It had been a long time since he had spoken so directly from the heart, but he wasn’t afraid of doing so any longer.

Turning onto his side again, Bastian caressed Reign’s cheek, and pulled her into a much deeper kiss. Though he wasn’t quite ready yet to do much more, he couldn’t let the opportunity just go by. She was here, together with him…and for now that was more than enough.
Reign 17 years ago
Exhausted by playful was an odd mood but it was a good one. She didn't laugh but she grinned against his chest.

"So you're calling me a ghost? A random memory that might or might not have existed?"Â?

Warm, pulse faster than was normal, wonderfully firm and a little on the sweaty side there was no way he was an illusion.. And even if he was it was a DAMNED fine illusion. Reign stretched and brushed his hair out of his eyes.

"You might want to rethink that. I'm pretty sure dealing with one supernatural creature is more than enough for this relationship don't you?"Â?

A kiss to his shoulder tasted slightly salty. It was wonderful, the whole thing was wonderful... now she needed to shake those romantic and day dreamy ideas from her head. Well, maybe later.

"For now lets just say some things get better with age. Don't you think?"Â?
Bastian 17 years ago
As if felt as though the smile on his face was becoming permanent, Bastian hoped nothing would ever come between he and Reign again, and vowed accordingly. Having done virtually nothing more than hope for this moment , over the past ten years, he now felt as if he could go back to enjoying life again.

“No Cara…no ghost could ever feel so warm, and soft, and welcoming…” His chest rumbled slightly as he silently chuckled. But what he said had been true…to him at least. As he had slid into her body, he truly felt as if he had been welcomed home.

To Bastian, the only true home he had ever known had been in Reign’s arms.

Capturing her hand, as she familiarly pushed the hair from his eyes, Bastian kissed her fingers, and nipped the last one, before cradling it against his chest. He eyed her, a bit warily, as he tried to decide if her comment was said in jest, or seriousness. The wolf issue would remain something for them to discuss for some time to come, he knew, but as long as he was relatively sure she wasn’t terrified of the prospect, he also knew they would manage.

“I don’t really think I’m at all supernatural, though in the strictest sense of the word, it does seem to fit.” And while it did fit, Bastian wasn’t ready to just accept the label. Supernatural to him meant things that had no basis in reality…ghosts, vampires, elves… Those creatures were the stuff fiction was created about. Werewolves were different…they were tangible…he was living proof.

“However, as I like you just the way you are now, Ms. Sorenson, I’ll happily agree.”

Snuggling her closer, as if that were possible, Bastian’s smile remained.

“Si…age for you, is like it is for a fine wine, and tonight we uncorked you and drank of your hearty deliciousness…” He was feeling terribly silly, and knew that was quite evident in what he had just said, but feeling so utterly free, while lying against her now, he refused to let any concerns invade their time together. This included any pretenses of being strong, silent, and stoic. For as long as he was able, Bastian intended to remain in the moment, and be himself completely.

“..or rather…perhaps the drinking is yet to come?”
Reign 17 years ago
"Oh I don't know, I say if they've made more than one bad movie about your kind and there are more campfire stories than I can shake a stick at you're supernatural."Â? She paused, as if considering. "Unless of course you feel like coming clean to the world."Â?

That seemed like an -extremely- bad idea. They'd just found him again and to have him carted away and poked and prodded by science, and any number of other things. Not to mention his pack probably wouldn't be happy with him... well this all just didn't appeal to Reign. She was much happier with him tying to get even closer to her and her trying to hold him even tighter.

"I'm glad I don't have to find some one to suck my blood to appeal to you though."Â?

She rolled her eyes and giggled at him as he played, but she gave as good as she got.[/i]

"You're the one who left a perfectly good bottle of wine out in the kitchen. You know it's entirely possible I have a drunken dog right now."Â?

Sirius had never been left alone with an open bottle of wine before. Although he was a good dog and had probably left it be. The food on the low coffee table, however, well that might be a lost cause.
Bastian 17 years ago
Sirius, drunk? Bastian chuckled. Because of his 'supernatural' powers, he could hear and smell the dog, even in another room, and knew nothing was amiss, yet. Of course he didn't know how long the dog's good manners would continue. It also hadn't slipped Bastian's notice, that Sirius had been quite, and well behaved tonight, and he vowed he would see what he could do to reward the dog. But that was as far as his consideration extended beyond the bedroom. He had no intention of wasting time with his mind elsewhere, when he had everything he could want in his arms right then and there.

"I seem to recall...yes...the memory is becoming clearer...a time, a few years ago, when we enjoyed our wine in bed..."

Bastian wondered if Reign recalled the incident. It had been at college, and somewhat messy, but they both had experienced a great deal of fun and satisfaction.

"I'll gladly retrieve the bottle if you'd like an encore..."

Not that he was real excited about leaving the bed just then, but if she was of a mind, she could ask anything of him at that particular moment, and he'd move heaven and earth to take care of it for her.

Until she told him different, he resumed his attentions to her, and began kissing, and nibbling around her neck. It occurred to him he was lucky he didn't have fangs to worry over, as he skimmed his teeth along her throat, sucking and lapping against the skin as well.

"You need to do nothing, Cara, but be yourself...it's all I've ever wanted...it's all I've ever needed."

Not sure she understood his mumblings, he figured she would at least figure out the gist of what he was saying by his tone, and actions. His hands moved around her body, much like they had earlier, but this much more slowly, and in a relaxed, and luxurious style. Having the initial edge removed from their passion, he could now afford to concentrate on rebuilding it in a more tantalizing way.

Before their night together was over, Bastian looked forward to thoroughly showing Reign just how much he had missed her.
Reign 17 years ago
Yes, she remembered that... clearly. Reign had taken it into her head to introduce Bastian to mead and it turned out that as a vintner he didn't much care for it, at least not in a glass. It had been a sticky mess, but they had thoroughly enjoyed making that mess.

Groaning and laughing at the same time she half heartedly shoved him away.

"If you think I was complaining about messing up the bed you don't even want to know how I'd deal with wine all over the sheets and carpet..."Â?

Her minor tirade was stopped, her words sinking like a ship at sea slowly becoming something of a hum, a purr and a moan. Either he was getting very lucky or he remembered that paying attention to her neck nearly always got her attention.

Temporarily incapacitated Reign let the delicious sensual feel of his lips, teeth and tongue on her throat wash over her. What was the saying? You never knew what you had until it was gone? Well you never appreciated it until you had it back.
Bastian 17 years ago
Her threats with regard to the bed linens were heard, and promptly ignored. While it was true she was the one person in the world able to wrap him around her finger, after tonight he knew he was again important enough to her, to wield some power as well. Messing up the bed and the resulting 'punishment' was something he considered testing out, but after a bit more thought he decided against it. Things were still too new, and precious to risk doing anything that might disrupt their harmony.

It wasn’t like he could see Reign going berserk, over simple messed up sheets, but to even annoy her the slightest was no where near his list of fun things to do. Yet he couldn’t resist one further comment.

“Somehow I think the way I could make you feel…” He murmured against her throat. “… lapping the wine from your body…” And he licked his way down into the valley between her breasts. “… would be worth a little wrath afterward…but I’ll abide by your wishes for the time being.”

Dios, but he missed this. Looking into her eyes, feeling her skin on his…even his memories hadn’t been real enough to keep this feeling alive totally. He was completely intoxicated by everything about her…her scent, her throaty noises, her skin, her taste.

Bowing his head, he again captured a taut peak between his lips, and lavished it with attention. his hands softly stroking the sides of her firm mounds. He could feel the stirrings between his legs, but this time they were building slowly. No matter how much he would have liked taking her again, right then, the time wasn’t quite right yet. So he playfully toyed with her breasts a little longer.
Reign 17 years ago
All she could do was purr. That was a magic spot and combined with the feel of his breath and voice... ... there was something she was forgetting to do. Oh yes, breathing that was it.

Once she'd remembered that little detail Reign let her hands snake down his back finding his butt. She gently pulled him to her as she arched against him. OK so she wouldn't be at all mad if he were to play with wine. Hell chocolate syrup wouldn't bother her. She might grouse if her carpet got stained but even that she'd forgive, or at least cover with a throw rug.

"Mmmmm... I don't know a little wrath can be fun. Don't you think?"Â?

She nuzzled his neck and lightly nipped where his shoulder and neck met.
Bastian 17 years ago
Moving down her body, he paused briefly at her naval, and swiped his tongue across the indentation, then widened the circle and lavished his affection on her stomach. Reign was delightfully curvy, and Bastian appreciated every bit of the flesh before him.

Nibbling around the sensitive skin at her hip, and waist, Bastian smiled as he imagined how hard she must have had to fight the urge to squirm. He didn't linger too long there, for fear of turning something fun, into something frustrating.

Kissing the slope where her thigh met her groin, he moved slowly, but didn't waiver. He was on a mission, and short of death he doubted anything would stop him.

Inhaling her feminine scent, he grinned to himself again, knowing she was feeling all he was giving, and enjoying it as she had before. Time might change a lot of things, but her reactions toward his attentions were just as he remembered.

Once he arrived at the juncture of her legs, his tongue delved into the moist folds, and he became more aggressive. His time for teasing hadn't ended, but he was now proceeding at a faster, and more insistent pace.

Finding the hidden button, one source of her pleasure, was incredible for Bastian, and he remained at that point for some time, before moving deeper inside her. His own source of pleasure was hot and throbbing now, begging for release, but he held back, preferring to pour all his energy into her through his mouth for now.
Reign 17 years ago
OK she was apparently a bit rusty, after all Reign wasn't exactly an easy woman and she'd been divorced for a while now, so it took her a few seconds for her to realize what Bas was up to. When she finally caught up with him, so to speak, she had to bite down on her tongue... hard... to keep her reaction under control. Even with that, a half growl half whimper caught in her throat. Not to put too fine a point on it, she wanted him again and now.

Very slowly, very deliberately she cautiously used her foot to touch, trace and tease whatever little bit of him she could reach without disrupting the delicious things he was doing to her body.

Half out of breath she forced out a plea.

"Please. Lupo..."Â?
Bastian 17 years ago
He was enjoying his ministrations now, as much as a starving man might enjoy a royal feast, and even her soft pleas did nothing to cause him to waiver. At least he didn't waiver right away.

His hands stroked along the sides of her hips, the tops of her thighs, and brushed the undersides of her breasts, while all along his lips and tongue continued their torment. His own body was not straining feverishly against the confines of his skin, and he knew he would need to answer her call sooner, rather than later. Otherwise he didn't doubt being with Reign like this now, would preclude him making a embarrassment of himself. And though she had seen him at his worst, the time to revisit those parts of his being would be better off delayed a little longer.

Bastian placed his hands beneath Reign's ass, and lifted her to him, making access to her deliciously fiery core much simpler, and giving him the ability to move his tongue even that much more deeply, within her. It was with a silent sigh that he disengaged himself from her shortly thereafter, and crawled up, over the length of her.

"Look at me Cara...watch my face, as I watch yours...as we are joined again...the way we were meant to be."

And giving in to both their needs, Bastian thrust himself into her, as a sword sliding into its sheath, and his mouth captured her's again, with a very loud growl.

The rhythm was established without conscious thought, and soon they were both moving toward the common goal. Bastian continued to kiss and lick Reign's lips, neck, and throat, until he couldn't concentrate on anything more than the actions of his lower body. The primal urge...the need so strong...eventually consumed all other thoughts, and became the only thing worth living for.

And as her body squeezed itself around his, he erupted inside her, and cried out her name.

Once the world again returned to it's rightful orbit, Bastian collapsed. The feel of Reign's body was still too incredible to even think of removing himself from, but he was aware that his weight would be difficult for her to bear much longer.

"I'll move, really I will...just give me a few moments..."

His words were breathy, and hearing how they sounded made him chuckle.

"I didn't think I was out of shape until just now."

Lifting his head, Bastian grinned at Reign, and looked for the love he was sure was still there.
Reign 17 years ago
Evil vicious carnivorous wolf man! He couldn't go on teasing her like this forever, but it felt like it, that is to say in the best possible way time had stopped. Her hips arched towards him, her hands grabbed for whatever part of him she could grab and still he continued.

Until he said something Reign hadn't even noticed her eyes were closed. She was oddly reluctant to open her eyes, for fear that she might be dreaming. But there was a tone in his voice she couldn't ignore. Slowly she opened her eyes and found his wonderful brown ones. It had been so long since she'd seen those eyes and seen them look like this; far too long.

As he entered her she moaned and then her passion met his, she gave ever bit as much as she received. Orgasm slammed into her and then created a wonderful haze, but through all that feeling him collapse on top of her, proof that he was still there and that this wasn't a dream, that was an even better feeling.

She laughed at his quip, again seeking his eyes.

"I don't remember wearing you out. Maybe you're just getting old."Â?

Not that she was in any better shape at this point.
Bastian 17 years ago
"Old?!"

Laughing loudly, Bastian nuzzled against Reign's neck only slightly roughly. His heart was full to bursting, and he just had to have a bit more release.

While in fact he was older, he was also more physically fit than he'd ever been, and in truth could have easily jumped from the bed and run a marathon, then and there. But that was the last thing he wanted to do. What he wanted to do would have been readily apparent to even the most casual of observers, had they bothered to look between his legs. For there was again, already, evidence that he wasn't worn out in the least.

Afraid if Reign knew he would be ready to go again in scant minutes, he did finally roll off her body, but pulled her with him to lie on his chest. That way he could keep the connection, but move his lower body far enough away that she'd not get wind of his state, unless he wanted her to. Grabbing the corner of the sheet, he flipped it up over their bodies to offer a bit more cover as well.

"Funny thing age...it really is of little concern to me these days. Not just because it has slowed down, physically, I mean, but because I've found there is no reason to concern myself with things I have no control over."

He spoke in his deep, slightly raspy voice, but in the most tender tone he only used in Reign's presence. His fingers unconsciously stroked along the skin of her upper arm, and teased the back of her neck where her hair was the softest. Her breasts were pressed into his chest, and not going unnoticed, but he gave the impression they were. His mind and body felt more alive tonight than they ever had, and it occurred to him that as a result he seemed to be in tune with EVERYTHING.

"Do you allow Sirius in your bed?"

The question probably sounded as if it came from left field, but Bastian was thinking about where things would go from here, for he and Reign, and Sirius was still a small itch in the relationship that required further scratching. The sooner things were made right between he and the dog, the less he'd have to worry about. Figuring the dog would quickly pick up on the scents that permeated the bedroom now, it would drive home exactly where Bastian stood in his lover's life. And if things could be resolved in that arena tonight, so much the better.

"I was just thinking to call him. I want him to know I have no intention of replacing him in your life...but...that I am definitely IN your life... " Bastian's head turned, and his eyes found Reign's. For a moment or two he was again lost. She had a truly uncanny way of doing that to him. But he blinked back the haze and grinned.

"What do you think?"
Reign 17 years ago
Giggling Reign enjoyed the feel of some stray stubble against her neck.

"Old, ancient, a veritable fossil."Â?

It was just a goofy distraction and she didn't mean it, but it was as good a point as any to tease him about.

As he rolled them she laughed again before snuggling against his chest. Now she could feel and hear his voice. This was something she'd forgotten, using his chest, arm or any other handy body part as a pillow.

Completely relaxed and more or less debating drifting off his question was a completely off the wall.

"Huh? Not really... some times he jumps up here if I watch a movie or something but he's got his bed over there."Â?

She pointed to a plush dog bed up against the wall. Oddly enough he preferred it there, Sirius seemed to like to have his own space when he wanted to sleep and seemed to respect her space.

Hearing his plan she frowned. It really should be done sooner or later, but was now the best time. She wouldn't hurt that dog for the world, but he and Bas needed to start getting on. Although they'd done well this evening.

"I think you're slightly crazy you know that?"Â?

She couldn't say no, but she also couldn't seem to say yes so she decided that evading the question was for the best.
Bastian 17 years ago
"I may have been living too close to the animals lately." He chuckled, but was more than a little serious. What with his business, and own pets...as well as his wolf life, it had occurred to Bastian a few times to worry about becoming less human himself.

"Its another reason why I need you in my life...I believe it's reason number eighty seven actually."

Crazy? Yes, he was completely, totally, without-a-doubt insanely mad about her, and he couldn't restrain himself from continuing to hug her close. Even though things were going so well, he couldn't shake loose the feeling that it was all just another one of his dreams.

"But just like with Sirius having his own space, and you retaining yours...sometimes those lines blur a little for me...having you back in my life may help me hold on to my humanity. And then too, there are other decidedly wonderful benefits as well."

Later. He would approach Sirius again sometime later, when time with Reign wouldn't have to be given up in exchange. Still, Bastian had to wonder how the dog would react the first time he shared the room with his mistress, and her lover.

Not wanting to presume too much, Bastian stopped caressing Reign's hair long enough to clear up another matter that was pressing.

"Should I dress now, and leave you to your sleep?"

If things hadn't been so new between them again, he wouldn't have given the thought any consideration at all. But there was still some tentative feeling about to be done - so to speak.

He hoped he wouldn't be asked to leave.
Reign 17 years ago
"Eighty seven?"Â? She queried. "I'm not sure if I'm flattered it's that high or disappointed I haven't broken the one hundred mark. Either way though, I'm going to be nice and -not- make you name off the other eight six."Â?

About this time Reign was contentedly drifting off with her face half buried in Bastian's side.

"Good, blurry lines I've never liked coloring in them."Â?

She'd only half heard what he'd said but was pretty sure she was agreeing with him. Now she just had to hope he hadn't asked her to become a werewolf or bear his children. Both were damned big steps and she wasn't about to consider either right now.

When he stopped moving Reign for a moment thought he'd fallen asleep. If that was the case he was defiantly getting old, she had almost always passed out when he did. Ah there he went talking again, but it wasn't a good thing. Nope, it wasn't in fact, it made her down right mad. Immediately she snapped herself upright and disengaged herself enough to nail him with a swift sharp jab in his side. He was probably lucky she was still some what asleep or she wouldn't have missed his kidney.

"What the hell kind of question is that?! Do you really think I'd even -suggest- that?!"Â?
