Rambling
She had always loved the night time, especially the balmy nights of late summer and early autumn. When it was dark early enough to see the stars without freezing your ass off.
Aislinn sat on one of the wooden benches that were dotted up one of the paths into the woods, though not quite in them. She was alone, the only company being the sound of the crickets chirping, a sound still strange to her for the nights around her home had always been silent but for maybe the call of an owl on the hunt.
She looked up the hill towards the woods, contemplating taking a hike through them, even in the dark. Had she been at home she would not have thought twice about it, but this was not the grounds of her estate. She did not know these woodlands like the back of her hand.
With a mental shrug she thought what harm could possibly come to her? She knew how to hide should she need to. Getting up, she made her way up the hill towards the treeline.
She only caught the end of Theo's sentence as it brought her from her thoughts, but she just assumed the Towers was a place in town and didnt think to question it.
"I can get back fine, I am staying in a hotel." She waved her hand in the general direction of the hotel which wasn't very far away really. She had been alone in the dark plenty times before. She gave Theo one of her rare full smiles which seemed to transform her somewhat plain face and actually made her quite stunning. "Thank you for the walk Theo... and for the story."
Theo generally assumed, when a person said they would be fine, that they could take care of themselves. Aislinn wasn't a little kid, however many years she may have. Even so, at Paul's urging, mostly, she added, "Be safe."
She beamed with pride at Aislinn's thanks, though the voices told her it was wicked to be proud of a story. To squish the feeling, she gave a formal bow and returned the thanks very prettily.
"Thank you for the company. It was a pleasure meeting you."
She might have marred her perfect manners by turning around and taking off at a full run, clipping off her 'you', but a lady always knew when it was time to leave, after all.

With a deep breath of the still slightly balmy air, Aislinn turned the other way and headed back to her hotel.
