Personal Questions

Steve Rowland is a trustworthy man. His experience as a fighter pilot was an eye-opening experience for him. He now has an anger management issue, which makes his job a police officer hard. However, he is usually a quiet person, doesn't talk to people much outside work, and keeps his past a secret. When angered, he will not yell, insult you, or give any indication that he is mad. Instead, he will either bottle things up inside, or lash out physically. He normally wears dark clothing, such as jeans, a t-shirt, boots, and a baseball cap reading: USAF BLACK DOGS, with an image of an F-18. He also wears a tactical holster on his leg, and carries either a Magnum Research Desert Eagle, or an H&K VP-70. Also carries a C.Q.C. knife in a sheath strapped to the side of his right calf. He walks with confidence, as if he knows that he is in control.

Also note that he has a tattoo of a black star with a white border and a pair of white crossed bones behind it, the symbol of the Black Dogs, on his right arm, and wears his dog tags everywhere, even in the shower.

Talking to Steve is like talking to a loaded gun, except no one has to pull Steve's trigger. He hates when people speak poorly about his sister, gossip, or otherwise annoy him. Other than that, the only way to irritate him is to try to fight him.

Born in 1977, Steve had a rough childhood, spending his days trying to protect his two sisters Nikki and Ashley from their abusive father. When he was five, his father died in a drunk driving incident. Steve, Nikki, and Ashley were raised by their mother. Then, just before Steve turned 16, his mother died of a snakebite. Ashley, who was now 18, was now in charge of the family. In 1994, at 17, Steve graduated high school, and joined the Air force.

Nikki followed in his footsteps in 1998, and they soon rose to the top of their class. Although Steve was shot down while defending a convoy over Kuwait, the brother-sister team seemed unstoppable. However, Nikki was discharged in 2000 for "mental instability."

This was a huge blow to Steve, and he became quite touchy on the subject. That was amplified when his sister was caught vandalizing stores in 2002, and now he is liable to put anyone who even hints at his sister being a lunatic in the hospital. In 2005, Ashley, now a detective in San Fransisco was killed by a suspect who was trying to cover up the murder of his wife. Steve and Nikki were absolutely devastated by the tragedy. Steve quit the USAF, and moved from Peck, where he was still living, to Nachton, in order to start over. Now, Steve is trying to get Nikki to move to Nachton as well.

Steve enjoys shooting, fishing, and NASCAR, and can cook very well. He can often be seen barbecuing on his front porch.

His worst fears are of snakes, due to his mother dieing of a snakebite, losing his sister, since his other sister, Ashley, was murdered three years ago, and, for some odd reason, closed, empty spaces, such as interrogation rooms.

Steve Rowland is an expert in combat, personal defence, and computer hacking. Has anger management issues, can get very protective over his sister Nikki, and does not take kindly to being bettered by other people.

Hobbies & Skills: Fishes a lot, and plays pool. Can fly an F-18 Hornet.

Cosmetic Traits: Scars on face from his days in the Air Force. Wears a ring on his right hand, in the shape of a skull.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention: Has a sharp wit, and an even sharper mind. When uncomfortable, holds the grip of the H&K VP-70 he wears in a tac. holster on his leg.

Personal History 3rd person: Flew an F-18 Hornet over Afghanistan. Led the elite Black Dog squadron. After the Air Force, he went through the police academy, and moved to Nachton seeking a new life. His friends and sister still call him by his call sign: Hellhound.
