Private Tutoring

(CONTINUED FROM HERE.)

Ginger seemed thrilled to have something to do, and greeted Fallon warmly as she approached the limo.

"Hi Ginger, you're looking smart tonight! This is my friend Aislinn, who we need to get back to her hotel to change, before heading to Eternity. Then, once we get to the club, just stick within cell distance, and I'll call you when we're ready to leave, thanks."

Ginger returned the compliment to Fallon, along with a knowing wink. Fallon really liked Ginger, and appreciated how affable the woman was, especially on such short notice. Once ensconced in the back of the limo, it was completely private between Fallon and Aislinn. Ginger knew that what went on behind her window was not her business, unless told otherwise.

The ride to Aislinn's hotel was long enough to allow Fallon a bit more time for instructions, and she took advantage.

"I guess the main thing to remember tonight, is to be as friendly as you can, but don't let anyone try to get you to do anything beyond what YOU want to do. Sure, we're here to feed, and to learn ways to do that, but it doesn't mean you can't have some fun...if YOU want.

Most guys I run into are grateful for any attention you give them, and if you make it a little fun, by the way of touching...kissing...stroking, whatever, they become putty in your hands. Unfortunately there are always going to be the rogues too...the ones who think they're God's gift, and that you can't deny them anything. Those are the ones to steer clear of, for your own safety, at least until you feel comfortable enough in taking them on successfully."

Fallon had no problem handling an obnoxious masher, and in fact enjoyed the challenge now. But that hadn't always been the case. She had found herself in some perilously close calls in the past, and had been ever thankful Cyrus had been close by.

"Tonight we should come up with some sort of signal to use, in case you find you're in over your head, or even if you have questions in the middle of things. A quick, short cough, or sneeze, or even scratching your arm..."

Fallon demonstrated all three examples.

"Then we can both meet in the restroom, and discuss the problem. But if at any time you aren't able to get away, for whatever reason, do whatever you have to, to get my attention. If I don't think I can come to your aide, I'll quickly find someone in the club who will."

The last thing she wanted to do was to scare Aislinn unnecessarily, but she also didn't want her charge to get hurt either.

She was relieved to know that Fallon didn't think she was a loser, but it did little to comfort her. She had always thought she would have children one day, although it hadn't always been top of her list of priorities. Subconsiously she had hoped to have her own family that would be happy in ways that she never was. Now it would never be.

Tears now streamed freely down her face and she gave in trying to hide them. This bit of bad news opened the floodgates, and she grieved for everything else she had lost recently. Aislinn was the type to bottle all her feelings up for ages before she released them. Until now, she had still not grieved for her fathers passing. Rage or tears where her usual outlets, the latter being tonights way of releasing the tension.

She put her face in her hands and cried her heart out, her body shaking with each sob.

Fallon had no idea what to do next, except to draw Aislinn into her arms once again.

Murmuring soft words of comfort, all she could do was wait it out until Aislinn either stopped crying, or cried herself to sleep.

"Hush, hushhhh...there is no reason on this earth why you can't still have everything you ever wanted from life...truly...it may seem utterly bleak and inconsolable now, but it will work, if you really want it to."

Again it seemed natural to stroke Aislinn's hair, and down her back. Fallon began humming again, and this time she chose the tune of 'Everything There Is a Season'. Before long the words came out softly, almost imperceptibly, and while Fallon sang them for Aislinn, she found comfort of her own in them as well.

"To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven."

She didn't even need to focus on the words, for they came from her as if she had been programed.

"A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep"

It all seemed a little trite, yet applicable, and Fallon alternated between humming the tune, and singing the words.

When she was halfway through the song, Fallon stopped singing. She was still tenderly stroking Aislinn, but lifted the girl's chin, as she sat back in the seat to better see her.

"Would you like to go back to Ger Kogji now...or are you up to a tour of Heolfor? Either way, we can always pick up later with whatever needs to be done. I'm sure Ginger won't mind driving around a bit longer either, if you wish."

Fallon was now trying to find anything that might distract Aislinn from her pain.

The song did have a strangely soothing effect and eventually she did stop crying. Her eyes still glistened when Fallon lifted her chin and she stared back at the woman who had done this to her. She was silent for a long moment as she considered her options. While emotionally spent she didn't feel tired yet. And sooner or later she was going to have to meet more of her kind, learn their ways for her own survival.

"We can go to Heolfor." She said softly, but her eyes were still on Fallon's. Her gaze lingered there for a minute then onto her full lips. One night of pleasure with her had changed her life in more ways than one. True, she would never see the light of day again, she would never have a child of her own flesh and blood. But for one night at least she had known what it felt like to be loved and cherished. It wasn't all so bad. But Fallon was married, had a husband. One day he would return and she'd be alone again. She must not rely on Fallon too much. But how could she resist if the situation presented itself again? Could she feel the same for a man now or was she truly attracted to the same sex. She was so confused. All she knew is that she wanted to feel like that again.

So difficult it was, to not join in a good cry with Aislinn. Fallon's emotions were so twisted up it could only do her good to really let loose. But it was a luxury she could ill afford at the moment.

She hoped the relief she felt, knowing they would soon be around people, didn't show in her face. Even though she would never consider shirking her responsibilities, this one she now had with Aislinn might be helped if she could share even the tiniest bit with someone else. At least it wouldn't hurt to try.

An arm around Aislinn's shoulders, and Fallon pulled her close again.

"Heolfor it is then."

Pushing a button in the arm of the door, Fallon spoke up.

"Ginger, please take us to Heolfor. You can drop us at the door, and take the rest of the evening off, thank you."

Releasing the button, the slightly older woman gave her attentions back to her new ward.

"One door closes, and another one opens. Lets go introduce you to your new family."

There was hope and promise in Fallon's voice, and words, and she could only trust the clan wouldn't let her down.

Aislinn stared out the window as Fallon held her. She heard the tone of Fallon's voice, but said nothing herself. She would see when they got there. She continued her silence as the limo made its way through the night to Heolfor Manor.
