1. Describe your character's personality

Cyn is still a kid at heart, he likes to play pranks, get in trouble and play with his food. He is very extroverted and has no difficulty striking up a conversation with someone he has never met. His lifestyle before being turned has left him with an overactive libido and it is not uncommon to find him still turning a trick or two. While the money from this comes in handy, it is mostly done just for the attention. He is incredibly touchy feely and will often paw and grope whomever he is talking with, sometimes without even realizing it. He lacks self control and often gets himself into trouble for just doing what he wants to do without thinking about the consequences. He is very meticulous about how he looks, to the point of obsession, and will often spend hours just making sure his hair is perfect and his nails are flawlessly manicured. He is also the type who showers twice a day, one just does not become the best in the business by being grubby or giving people diseases.

2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger

Cyn is always wearing something skin tight to show off his best assets. He loves textures and is willing to wear pretty much anything, as long as its in his favorite colors; black and red. Occasionally he might even add some other colors, but this is limited to silver and an ice blue that compliments his eyes. When not on the prowl, he appears sweet and harmless, something he uses to his advantage to draw his victims in. Right before he pounces, he gets this tell tale smirk that says "ooh, I'm going to do something bad now."Â?.

On one hand he fears letting anyone close enough to cut him like that again, but on the other hand, he fears having to spend the rest of eternity alone. So he clings with all his might to whichever short lived fling comes along, but often hesitates just too long to open up and let someone in.

Personal History

Born 1959, Cynicke was a middle child in a family of eight. From an early age his parents his parents were worried about him turning out strange as they often found him playing in his mother's shoe closet or jewelry box. They tried their best to make him see that these were not the things boys did, including long drawn out fights and the occasional slap.

At age twelve, little Nicke accepted the fact that he was never going to be the way they wanted him to be and ran away from home. He found out soon after that the world was not kind to a kid with no money and little education, and street life even less so. However, this was the life he had chosen and he was not about to admit that his parents were right and crawl back home with his tail between his legs.

So he started turning tricks to make ends meet. There were no shortage of men willing to take a pretty young boy in for the night as long as their wives never found out. While not every experience had was enjoyable, Cynicke didn't know how to live without giving his everything to the cause. It wasn't long until word spread about this sweet faced boy who was willing to do just about anything for the right price.

He quickly learned to bury the person he had been and became Cyn, one of the most sought "entertainers"Â? in the city. To special customers he was also known as Cupid due to the penchant of donning a set of fluffy white angel wings and a red bow and putting on an act to remember on very special occasions.

It was on such an occasion, when the current client had invited a few choice friends to witness the boy's "act"Â? that Cyn met Lucas Le Roi. That following night Lucas requested his services and Cyn was more than willing to respond after a hefty sum had been named. It went very much like every other night that he was at job, only shortly before dawn, when Cyn would normally take his leave, Lucas had pinned him down one last time and kissed his neck. To this day Cyn can still recall the sensation of a sharp sting, after which everything went hazy. He remembers something being pressed against his lips and had obediently opened, letting thick liquid fill his mouth. At the age of seventeen, the young street kid, Cynicke, died.

When he woke up again it was night and they were no longer in Prague. His creator took great pains to teach his new toy everything he needed to know to survive being the creature he had become. Cyn had reveled in the power to just reach out and take anything that he could. Lucas had allowed him the freedom to explore his new gifts, once again caught up in the enthusiasm of youth himself. Together they had played through Europe, leaving a path of bloody mayhem behind them.

Unfortunately this reckless behavior had won the attention of hunters, humans who dedicated their lives to wiping out creatures like these. Ten years after he was turned, the hunters finally caught up with them. Lucas was slain and Cyn had fled. For years he had just run to get away until he was sure that those particular hunters had lost his trail a long time ago.

And now, it was time for him to settle down in a new hunting ground.
