Throwing and Hitting(attn: Drew)
Tavi played with one of the white strands of hair, looping it around her fingers over and over again. The fake dread falls were back in and she had two very full pigtails of black and white hair. Her skirt was a short pleated black and white plaid. Her shirt was a little boat necked tee in bright pink with a pair of very thin suspenders strapped over the top. Her look was completed with knee socks and a short pair of doc martins.
She stood outside the arcade and tried to look casual, maybe even bored. No bored would be bad. Tavi just didn't want to look like she was anxiously waiting the arrival of her date. Pausing the fidget with the hair, she pulled out her phone.
Click, she checked the time. Yep, she was early.
Tavi stared down at the little iphone and considered her options. Picking a random game that she probably wouldn't pay much attention to anyway, she started it up. At least it would make her look less desperate without having to feign complete apathy.
He wasn't about two start speculating how twisted or in what manner, he was too nice a guy for that. And even if he wasn't this was a first date for crying out loud. It would just be rude to go down some roads.
"Running might get you a date, but I'm not sure about it as the actual date."Â?
It had been a date once or twice actually, but it had involved the full moon and a girl in the Pack back home. When you each knew about the other it was exciting to run together, hunt together.
Drew slid the helmet on with a great deal of familiarity.
"Bonnie and Clyde had a get away car and if I remember right even that wasn't quite fast enough that last time."Â?
Not that he remembered how they'd gotten caught he just remembered seeing pictures of the 'death car' with about nine million holes in it. That could not be a pleasant way to go. It was an interesting remaindered that even if on the side of law and order one could be over zealous.
Drew was a contact hitter, not a long ball guy, always had been; although the whole werewolf thing made most of his base hits doubles and triples rather than just singles. He wasn't arguing, his on base percentage was very impressive. Tonight was no different, he only missed one pitch and knocked two of them -way- back.
A little pleased with himself he slid out of the cage grinning.
"Did I win?"Â?
Doubtful she'd change but there might be a problem with future relations if he didn't like a little bit of twisted.
Tavi shrugged in answer to the question of Bonnie and Clyde.
"They have their way... and we can have ours. I suggest we do better and not getting caught."
Tavi watched Drew , who was much better at the hitting part of this adventure than she was. When he was done, she smiled and answered his question.
"You totally won."
She didn't say what...that might be a subject for date two but she was certain by now that, for her part, she wanted to see the next one. Tavi didn't once feel the need to phone-a-friend or suddenly require an emergency hair washing. Hopefully, Drew felt the same way.
"Lets go see about those kazoos!"
