Its a Nice Night (OPEN)
He could get very used to Alex having this much leisure time. Granted the circumstances sucked for him, but Eiryk did like not having to compete with the shop. Part of Eiryk wondered how Alexander would feel about being a kept man. The other part knew he wouldn't take that well. At least not this early in the relationship.
They'd driven down to the strip, on the pretense of Eiryk wanting to look for somethings for the studio. He needed some art work and knew there was a new gallery opening. He also needed supplies for his Christmas card. His conversation with Alexander about Thanksgiving had made him take stock of things and he was shocked how low things were. He also needed a 'sheep' ton (hahahaha) of raw wool. Eiryk had it in his head to make a blanket for Alex for Christmas and that meant he needed wool to die and spin and knit. How he was going to do all this without Alex knowing was an interesting question, but he'd improvise.
At any rate, he had a half-hearted mental shopping list, but mostly he just wanted an excuse to walk hand in hand with Alexander for a while.
Poker, however, was another matter. "Well, I guess if I have to go without, I'll have to go without," he said, casting his eyes upward with a martyred air. Granted, they'd only spent three nights together, but they'd spent every one of them in Eiryk's bed rather than one of them sleeping out on the couch, and they hadn't exactly been chaste. Chased, yes.
At any rate he called Eiryk's bluff and offered him a sweet smile; if Alex was going without then Eiryk was too... and Eiryk wasn't really into self-denial.
"Sounds great," he said to Eiryk with a perky, affected grin. "I'd love to watch Titanic. Let's watch it twice!"
Alexander whistled as they walked along, wondering how long Eiryk would pretend to go along with this scheme.
"Fuck it."Â?
He half pulled half stumbled but swung them both in a total 180 and headed back to his car. No way was he going to put up with this game. Not when there were so many better games the could play.
"If we are watching that POS twice we are going to get started right away."Â?
Screw the gallery, he'd rather screw Alex. And if that meant he had to be the one who caved and failed to make good on his threats, well so be it.
"But no popcorn... it gets stuck places."Â?
((OOC... both out))
