Personal Questions

1. Describe your character's personality Intelligent and patient. Amrit is naturally rather charming when being himself. He can also be quietly intimidating, even without meaning to be. Or socially awkward (sometimes he tries too hard)
2. Describe how your character would appear to a stranger (I.E. typical dress, way they carry themselves etc.) Watchful and quiet, unassuming
3.What does your character like? music, Russian culture and folklore, warm weather, rain
4. Dislike? jellybeans, snow, lies, stupidity
5. (For humans) Describe what abilities you see your character having if they were turned.
6. What are your fears? (please choose and explain 3 minimum)

Fears not accomplishing what he promised - The task has taken centuries and there are times when he wishes he had never started it. Amrit fears that he will not have the strength of conviction to finish it.

Fear of being frozen - Amrit doesn't believe that it would kill him. He hates the cold, much like his animal form would suggest. The thought of being frozen possibly for centuries, falling into ice cold water and being locked in freezers is horrifying. Basically, he hates the cold and with his heavy sleeping habits the thought of never waking up is terrifying.

Losing the last of his humanity - Margosha was his link to the kindest and most loving parts of himself. With her death, that part of him died. Amrit fears that it is gone forever and a part of him wonders if he would do things differently if he could bring himself to care for anything again.

7. What is your character's strengths and weaknesses? (please pick 3 minimum of each and explain in detail how and why this affects your character)

Patience - With age comes the wisdom to know that many things don't need to be done right away. Amrit knows that time is generally on his side and does not feel rushed to accomplish his goals.

Code of honor - Amrit believes in honesty and in keeping his word. That moral behavior has helped him stay somewhat sane and linked to the world around him.

Loyalty - Over the years Amrit has gathered many loyal followers that help him do whatever he needs doing but mostly taking care of his mundane needs such as travel and lodging.

Code of honor - His personal code has also led to many of his troubles, including his current pursuit of justice. He does what he has given his word he will do. Even if he later regrets that action.

Honesty - Above and beyond his personal code, Amrit does not lie. (He may, however, refuse to answer.)

Socially awkward - Amrit is a great observer but he does not participate in human society or even his own vampire society very often. While he academically understands what he sees and learns he does not always put it into practice. More over, he has lost the habit of behaving as a human physically and therefore trying to do so tends to be forced or slightly off.

Cosmetic Traits(Distinct, character defining physical attributes. These should be minor and offer no real power other than to make your character appear more interesting.) Amrit's fangs don't retract much like a King Cobra's.

Quirks and Habits worthy of mention -
Tends to be unnaturally still at some points and then move unnaturally quick at others. Being so old he has forgotten what it is like to behave as a human.

Personal History 3rd person (1st is acceptable) but please be as detailed as possible, this can/will affect your rp with other players.

Amrit was born to farmers. He, himself, continued this trade into his adult life, eventually marrying and having a son. In the village where he lived Amrit became known for his good solid advice and honesty. Soon he found himself on the local council which led to travel among the nearby villages in the local area.

His son stayed at home with his mother though he often times expressed his desire to go see the interesting places that his father would occasionally travel to.

Once his son had reached his fourteenth year Amrit finally agreed to allow his son to him on a journey to visit the other local leaders. It was on this journey that they met a mysterious benefactor to one of the more powerful men in the largest village on his route.

This man took a great interest in Amrit and his son. That night they returned to their lodgings for sleep. In the morning Rajan was gone. Amrit stayed and searched for his son. He found that the mysterious benefactor was also gone. Eventually he returned home without his progeny and explained to his wife what had happened, as best as he understood it. He promised her that he would continue is the search until he found their son.

That search never proved fruitful during his wife's lifetime. She died in childbirth while he was away looking for their son. Amrit blamed himself for her death and the loss of his son. He still continued looking for his missing child despite having lost hope of ever seeing him again.

It was on a brief trip home that he would be reunited with Rajan. His son looked wild eyed and hungry. The happy homecoming Amrit had imagined turned into a brief struggle in which he found himself easily overpowered by his slender offspring.

When he came to once more, Amrit found his son in the corner rocking and sobbing, more hungry than he had been before. It was then, through tears that Rajan explained what had happened to him and what he had become.

Being a practical man, Amrit took his new situation in stride. He learned what he could about his abilities, needs and limitations. Rajan's creator found his new progeny to be an unfocused student at best. Eventually he allowed Rajan to leave his care long enough to make peace with the ending of his mortal life.

Rajan's Creator arrived a few weeks later to find that his new child had made a child of his own. Amused by the situation, he left the two of them to their own devices. Perhaps he thought Rajan would have an easier time dealing with his new life now that he had a companion he cared for, perhaps he had grown bored of his less than stellar pupil or perhaps it was all just a grand experiment.

Amrit and Rajan spent hundreds of years together. Rajan was eventually killed during a plague outbreak. The city's inhabitants coming together to kill the monstrosity they felt was to blame for the blight brought upon them.

Amrit slowly and deliberately slaughtered everyone in the village, sick, healthy, young and old alike.

Later years would find him in the company of Margosha Ivanova. They were both Anantya. She was a member of the Night and he a member of the Rose. They had been placed together for a difficult mission that involved a long time spent in each others company. Amrit began to grow accustomed to that company, welcoming it with a renewed fervor for the joys of life.

Therefore the death of Margosha, at the hands of her own people, came as an extreme betrayal to Amrit. She had the ability to change form into the most beautiful white wolf he had ever seen. They had been visiting her native lands and Margosha, always the early riser, had left him to sleep while she went to hunt.

Unfortunately, she found herself caught amongst a fierce but short battle with some local werewolves and some of the local Anantya. Hostility still surfaced among both races whenever the other was encountered. Margosha was caught by surprise while chasing an elk across the snow. The members of the Hunt took her head from her body before realizing what they had done.

Amrit's fury was uncontainable. He never knew which side was responsible for starting the fight. Once he had awoke and gone looking for his love, he found those still locked in a struggle at the place of her death. There were none left alive to question once his rage abated.

Margosha had always felt sympathy for the werewolves with whom she shared something of a kinship and never condoned the action that was taken against them in the truce. Amrit vowed to her spirit to right this wrong. No mater how long it took.

That has been his goal for hundreds of years. In the beginning he watched, collected and learned. He occasionally killed those on his list of victims but was in no hurry for their demise.

That was until the hold of the command broke enough that werewolves began to enter the cities once more. It was only a matter of time before the vampires chose to retaliate in some fashion, perhaps pushing for a renewal of the command that the truce had called for. It would be no easy feat and there would be slaughter on both sides of the fight if the truce were truly broken and war broke out once more.

The vow he made to Margosha must be accomplished and soon. The final bonds needed to be broken and the wolves needed to be let loose once more. If possible, he would ensure that such a hold on them could never happen again.
