Wow I have no idea. I think most, if not all, are right handed. Can't think of anytime I've said otherwise.

Musical preference of Characters? Or music that reminds you of certain characters.

Alfarinn - Thanks to Thaddeus and Billie, he has a love of Rufus Wainright and the song Between the Bars.
Jan - A lot of music but does listen to a lot of dark, gothy, techno and the like. Annie Lennox is a current favorite. He has a fondness for shocking me with a love of something random or old school from time to time just so he can't be labeled.
Vaughn - Guitar music, likes the group Blackmore's Night, also Ella Fitzgerald and such.
Jin - Traditional Chinese music, loves the ruan. Likes guitar and Swing, and anything you can dance to.
Akahana and Mai - Both like traditional Japanese music. Hana also likes the song Centerfold by Pink
Sorcha - Celtic music, the Beatles, Mika, The Rolling Stones and some others.
Mahesh - The song Voodoo by Godsmack

That's about all that have a preference that I know of.

Brig/Viv - Corinne Bailey, Just like a star
LT/Carol - One Republic, specifically 'Say, all I need' (going to be their wedding song)

Viv - Janet Jackson bump and grind stuff, specifically 'Son of a gun' with Carly Simon
Carol - Prince, 'Gett Off'
Red - anything with a hard Rock guitar sound from the late 70's to early 90's, Joe Satriani, little Billy Joel, 'A matter of trust'
Charlie - R&B bluesy music
Pipers - rough grungy music like from the soundtracks 'Crow', 'Queen of the Damned', etc

Pak - listens to anything but has an odd fondness for The Who and The Clash that I don't understand.

Val - loves old jazz but has picked up a taste for The Dropkick Murphy's Flogging Molly and The Young Dubliners

Ambrose - yeah... anything. The blues are his favorites he's started liking The Black Keys and Muddy Waters is always a favorite

Reign - Zep, STP, etc. but she does love jazz and the blues so eclectic it isn't even funny

Marie - nothing stands out for her probably whatever Ysabel listens to

Nikhila - 'world music' mostly instrumental but she also likes Billie Holiday a lot and (don't tell) some Elvis

Drew - anything goes but he also knows and enjoys a lot of tribal music

Eiryk - anything goes

Therese - Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Diana Krall but a lot of instrumental, traditional and world music

Damaris - mostly traditional Celtic, some bluegrass, and some metal (we blame Ambrose for that)

oooh! I want to play! And since I only have three characters (gah your lists make me feel like a slacker) it should be easy to answer the questions!

Funniest Characters... Dawn when I decoded, Ellis makes me giggle and Carol is always good for a laugh. Of the ones I've played- er Ginnie was the funniest in her Scottish crazy blow things up kind of way. (I miss Ginnie *pouty lip*)

Kat- Rogue maybe or maybe one of those I think I'm awesome DK's that don't know how to let the tank keep agrro.


Everybody's right handed. I think Dana might be considered ambidextrous what with all the instrument playing, but I doubt it. She only writes and stuff right handed.

Ok Music, this was harder:

Dana- At the moment loves bluegrass, old Grand Ol' Oprey era country and western music, and of course anything classical or celtic.

Kat likes her music hard and fast with a heavy back beat, so club music makes her happy

Kai, hmm I think she's a pop music with a touch of hip hop thrown in here and there kind of girl.

Hmmm music wise let's see

Diane - she's a heavy OneRepublic fan but kind of eclectic otherwise
Luka - is a solid Three Days Grace guy, Alice in Chains ect
Trayce - likes hard hitting stuff whether it be metal or rap
Panos & Delilah I can't figure out one song or type of music they really like. I'm not sure Panos even listens to music aside from some old ethnic stuff.

Claire - A novel or perhaps a small embroidery project

Sorcha - probably a dog toy that Gwyn deposited there.
Mai - assuming she has a bedside table... probably a flower or piece of origami

Morrigan - the same or some paperwork for the Order
Gris - Empty wine glass

Kai- Mostly water, fruit juice and the like, because she doesn't drink alcohol.

Kat- Vodka...in any form

Dana- She rarely ingests anything and will usually join her host if it helps them feel more comfortable.

Thought I'd jump in here with a question of my own.

I research. A lot. I mean, I spend half my time researching little details for a short thread. I completely sidetracked myself several times during nanowrimo just looking up the details of Simon's long range rifle. Today I was working on my nanowrimo story and decided I needed a list of existing (and disabled) satellites orbiting earth. I came across a site that not only had what I wanted and needed, but broke it all down in an excel sheet.

I literally jizzed in my pants.

Seriously, I was hyperventilating. Anyone else get excited over researching like that? Someone please say yes so I don't feel like a total nerd. O_O

LOL it doesn't always show in my writing but yes, it is FUN and finding what you need is the best!

You're not alone. I love it. I like books, so when I research I start buying books.

Because of Kem, I have learned to translate hieroglyphics.

Because of Tai, I have several books about yakuza.

Because of Xeph, I learned ASL and some Auslan.

Because of the werewolves, I have several books on wild wolves.

There's much much more. I have multiple books for each character. I LOVE writing like this, and it totally keeps me inspired to write more.

I started watching this tv show i found on netflix called 'Special Ops Mission'. One of the newer Pipers is an ex Air Force Combat Controller. Annoys me that I didn't think of making him until after my husband left his Controller squadron. I could have talked to any one of those guys and picked their brains, so I've resorted to this show. There is so much I already want to research, but the more I think of it, the Pipers are werewolves. I like getting their military aspect of their humans sides right though.
