The Restaurant at the End if the Concourse

Pak liked to sneak in through the back, the green concourse. The sheer energy of the front could overwhelm her, besides she usually wound up back here anyway. That and it was quieter and less noticable and as she still couldn't quite shake the feeling she was on the other teams turf no matter how often she'd been told otherwise.

Multiple people over the years had encouraged her to get out more to engage with the world more and actually do things, she doubted any of her friends would have seen this as the resuli. A few years ago Pak had taught an advanced folding class at a community center. It had been pretty much a disaster. Too many students and none of them had known what they were doing... other than one and he'd apparently been as irritated as she was.

Hearing him muttering to himself in French had actually highly amused Pak, the fact that he was more than slightly attractive had convinced her to ask him for a drink after the failure of a class. It hadn't worked out romantically but they quit enjoyed each other's company and that continued even after they had mutually worked out what the other was.

So Pak was sitting quietly in Terminus playing the who's a werewolf game when a scotch on the rocks just turned up on her table. It was less surprising than it might be, she had yet to be able to sneak up on Navid.

Pak asked in French genuinely curious. He swore he didn't just sit in front of the security monitors waiting.

Navid shook his head. Pakpao certainly could be enigmatic and mysterious when she chose. She told him once she'd learned French while living in France, Guillaume suspected she'd learned a few other things there as well. She certainly flirted and intrigued as well as any French woman, better than some, or maybe that was just his perspective. But he had gotten a kiss and an invitation so he was hardly going to complain.

"I have a long multiple city charter starting in... two days. I'll have them done before I get back.”

It might have been his imagination but Guillaume thought he saw Pakpao frown. He thought perhaps she was disappointed. Interesting. Perhaps it was even a hopeful sign. He'd like to think so.

"Do you even eat?”

He asked with a raised eyebrow. Evan didn't and he couldn't recall ever seeing Pak eat, although she didn't have any issues imbibing.

"Not really... not often... sometimes though. I can cook though.”

"You cook?”

Navid asked rather incredulously.

"A little. I took some classes.”

The sheepish way she said it made him chuckle just a little. Not in a mean way just tickled.

"I will see if I can find us something to do when I get back. It may or may not involve food.”

Unsurprisingly she didn't answer. It was very like Pak. Still Navid counted this as a win, even if they never got past date one... even if they never had date one he was pleased, but he didn't say so, all he did was offer a small toast which was quietly returned.

((OOC... both out))
