As luck would have it Pt 2 (private, William)
She quietly thanked him as he lowered her to the ground and led her out of the bar. She felt as though every eye was on her, revealing her clumsiness. The fact was, it wasn't further from the truth. It was already late and very few people were in this section of the lobby.
She lifted the towel and looked at her shirt, cursing once again, "There is no way I will get this out.." She signed and tilted her head, resting it against Liam's arm as they walked. She was definatly feeling tipsy despite only having a drink and a half. Usually she did very little other than sip a single drink throughout the night. She had never wanted to lose control of her senses. It was unlike her. All things aside, she felt pretty damn happy. She just hoped that he didn't think she was an imbecile. She was sure this wasn't the type of night he had planned.
She rolled on to her side. draped one leg over his waist and an arm over his neck as she buried her face against his chest and closed her eyes. She had never felt comfortable enough with someone to spend the night with them, but all she wanted right now was to sleep knowing that she would wake next to him in the morning. Or, more than likely, the afternoon.
She ran her forefinger along the his hairline at the back of his neck and sighed contentedly. Maybe tomorrow they could go for a jog in the park. Or to the beach. Or maybe just....sleep.
A smile started to grow on his face as he thought about the task of tiring her out, something he would surely enjoy.
He carefully gathered Etain in his arms and ignored the little squeaks of protest she made into his chest as he carried her into the bathroom and reached down to turn the shower on.
He hummed for a second and then abruptly stopped as a devilish idea crossed his mind. Still holding Etain he quickly spun and placed her in the bathtub before jumping back and leaving her under the still freezing water.
"Looked like you needed a bit of a wake up little one, I wouldn't want you drifting off to sleep so early!" he laughed as the cold water hit her.
She breathed heavily for a few moments, just staring at him with fury in her eyes. She couldn't decide. Beat him in the face or kick him in the balls.
Liam just stood there with a slight grin on his face for a minute and then winked at her.
"Besides, now I have something to make up for, and you seem to be awake enough now to figure out ways for me to do just that!"
As he said that, liam deftly side stepped her standing in front of the shower and got under the now warm water.
"Come on in if you like, the water is great!"
Silently, she turned and stalked from the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. "I hope he burns himself on the water, " she thought. She strode over to the closet and opened it, a look of dismay creeping across her face when she remembered that her clothes weren't even here. She reached out and snatched a Dior button down shirt from it's hanger and pulled it over her head, mumbling angrily, "I don't need this shit from someone I just met. Good fuck or not."
"Leaving so early little Etain?"
She yanked the boxers up to her waist and pushed her hair back over her shoulders, wearing a proud look on her face, "You can go back into the shower and please yourself. I will have your clothing cleaned and returned to you."
With that, she walked towards the door...[/i]
"Well then my dear, please be safe on the streets tonight, they can be quite dangerous in this city I am told and I would hate to think of something happening to you."
He took a few short steps to the door and opened it for Etain, standing to the side so that she could leave.
Closing and locking it quickly behind her before she could shoot a parting barb at him, he started giggling and walked back toward the bathroom.
The object of his amusement was sitting there, on the counter next to the sink where she had left it. Still laughing and looking forward to seeing Etain again, he idlely wondered how far she would get before she noticed that she didn't have her purse, presumably with her apartment keys and cab fair in it.
The woman gave her an odd look, but nodded, "Right away, miss."
Etain smiled in satisfaction as she heard the woman carry out her request and awaited the answer.
Well, that just wouldn't do now would it. He walked over to the laptop and speakers he had set up on the desk and turned the volume up until he couldn't hear the low ringing of his phone.
Hrm, one of his favorite songs too! He would just have to sing along.
Etain grumbled and looked up at the ceiling, "He must have gotten back into the shower." She leaned closer to the counter and spoke softly to the other woman, "Look. I really don't want to go back up there and see him again right now...Is there any way one of the luggage boys could maybe go up there to get it? There will be a nice tip in it for both of you."
The woman behind the counter looked hesitant, but finally nodded and waved one of the younger men by the door over. She jotted something down on a slip of paper and then passed it to the man when he arrived, "If you could, please retrieve this woman's bag from Mr. Unruh's quarters."
The man looked at the room number scrawled on the piece of paper and then hurried off.
Oh yes, Etain! he thought. He quickly scanned out the door with his empathy to see if it was her coming and rather than the mind he had come to enjoy he was meet with that of a bored bellhop.
Smiling at her efforts he quickly slipped on a pair of slacks and walked to open the door for the bellhop. He stood silently for a moment while the bellhop explained the situation, then reached into his pocket and handed the man a hundred dollar bill.
Looking the man in the eye as he handed him the money he said to him "I am afraid I would feel most uncomfortable handing such a personal effect off to just anyone I am afraid. If you could please inform Etain that for her own protection I am afraid I will have to give it to her personally. I would happily come down stairs and give it to her, but I am afraid she walked off with my last shirt!" He winked at the bellhop as he said this last and laughed as the man glanced at the money in his hand, smiled and nodded quickly before walking off.
Liam shut his door once again, and started to sing.
The man looked at her and stuck his nose in the air slightly, "He says that he doens't feel comfortable handing such a personal object to me and requests that you retrieve your bag yourself, miss."
She opened her mouth to speak but could find no words except those that might offend this man. She decided that she'd like to be allowed back into the hotel, so she just stalked off towards the elevator without so much as a thank you.
When she reached the top floor she had really gotten herself good and pissed off. She walked to the door and knocked loudly, waiting for him to answer.
Probably incredibly illegal this, but then, not many knew that it exsists. He sighed as he realized how much he would miss Vegas once again, the one place in the world where literally everything was for sale, if the price was right.
Carefully he opened the bottle and dabbed a few spots on his neck of the solution that a rather brilliant chemist had come up with. His company tried to tell him that they owned it due to the contract he had signed so he had left with it and all of his notes. Liam had met him in a casino one night and after a few drinks he had walked away with this beautiful solution. Of course, dabbing himself with the pure pheremone extract that caused arousal was probably cheating, but then, when had he ever played fair.
He wandered out of the bedroom after hiding the bottle again and started to sing a new song, a country song by the name of "come a little closer" he had fallen in love with when he heard the loud knock on the door. Smiling to himself, he went and opened the door for his little Etain.
She collected her thoughts and spoke quickly, "I believe that you have something of mine. I'd like it back now please."
Having said that Liam turned and walked ahead of her to the bedroom, stopping by the food cart still sitting there to pluck a strawberry from it as he waited for her to follow.
She turned towards him and gave him a nod, "Thenk you for a lovely evening, but I really should be going now. As I said before, I will have your clothing cleaned and returned if that is ok wth you?"
"Of course that will be fine, your clothes will also be returned here in the morning. As lovely as they were, I have doubts that they will fit me any better than mine fit you."
She lifted the strawberry to her lips and took a bite as she began to make her way from the bedroom.
"Etain, if you should decide that you are tired playing with men who are hardly worth your time, feel free to stop by. If nothing else I can promise no more cold showers."
"Also, your clothes should be ready tomorrow if you would like to stop and pick them up, since I do not know the address to send them too."
