As she drove back to the loft Nyra explained about her first trip to the mall and the friends she had made that night. Making a mental note to ask her father if the portraits had been shipped, she parked the car. The two carried all the bags up the stairs.
Standing at her door, bags and keys in hands, Nyra smiled at Connie. "How would you like to come over for dinner tomorrow? I am making quiche!"
Exploring the Mall and Possibilities
(Continued from Voicemail )
Thankfully the short drive to the mall was uneventful and Nyra managed to keep her mind on the drive and not her passenger. Parking in the garage, near an entrance made the walk short. They walked in between a large chain store, cheap shoe store and a uniform shop. It can only get better from there, she figured.
She gently took Connie's hand in hers and threaded their fingers together. "So where do you want to stop first?"

Connie was in awe of Nyra's ... rather unique way of meeting those three people. No wonder she had the little scars on her hand.
Something about the way she described Mr. Swiftwood, though, made her wonder...
Her train of thought was derailed by Nyra's bubbly request, "How would you like to come over for dinner tomorrow? I am making quiche!"
"I'd love to! I haven't had a good quiche in a while. Just let me know if you want me to bring anythin' along with me. Tomorrow's also the last day before my weekend, I need to get back to my regular schedule starting Sunday night." Connie knew it was still relatively early, not much past nine, so she asked, "Do you need any help with your bags or anything?

She too, did not want the evening to end "How about you put your bags up and c'mon over. I have beanbags at least."

Connie called over her shoulder with a smile, "I'm just waitin' for deliveries!"
