Great Vampire Physiology study

Very good job on the Vampire Physiology piece. It has answered a good portion of my questions.

Something you may want to add would be "human reaction to losing one pint of blood."

As this is something that happens on a "regular basis" in blood donation, here is a brief rundown of recovery time expected from a human losing one pint of blood:

Plasma (non-blood liquid) volumes will return to normal in around 24 hours, while red blood cells are replaced by bone marrow into the circulatory system within about 3-5 weeks, and lost iron replaced over 6-8 weeks.

The American Red Cross limits blood donation times to once every 56 days.

Thanks very much for the suggestion -and- for the homework . Good that you found it helpful.
