Familiar policy is decided based on the clan. The respective Elders will be posting something on that policy soon. For now, we'd ask that you either PM or start an RP thread with one of your Elders to discuss.

That's how my 2nd familiar was added. Granted I'm a Leader, but we ended up rp'ing the whole thing which was great fun.
