Excusing herself from the conversation with Kem after requesting permission to talk to him more later, Fallon smiled and went to join Cyrus. Once introduced she was relieved when Shay reminded her of their prior meeting. Fallon was also relieved that her intent that night had been stopped with the sudden appearance of the man who stood next to Shay now. Thinking of the possibilities now, had she gone through with making a meal of Shay then, was too much for Fallon's head to deal with. She just thanked her lucky stars there wasn't any reason for either woman to be uncomfortable now.
"Actually you're right, I was living in town then, not far from where we met. Small world, as they say." Fallon smiled genuinely now, at both Shay and Mathias, and felt good to see a friend of Cyrus had come. Taking Cyrus' hand, when he spoke of the work she and Suki had done on the house, Fallon accepted the accolades, even if she didn't think she'd done that much. It wasn't the time or place to go into details about her little input now, but should she have the opportunity later, she would set Mathias and Shay straight. As it turned out, more guests arrived then, and she again excused herself, soliciting the same promise from Mathias and Shay, that she had from Kem. Talking to Aishe and Ana was a given. She wasn't going to give a party for her friends, and not spend time with the two most important ones there.
Happily people started moving into the living room, and the entry became easy to navigate again. Fallon joined Cyrus just as he was greeting two fellow Anantya's and a woman she knew had to be related to Ysabel. Dressed the same or not, Fallon could tell the two women were twins, but wondered why she hadn't met the other twin the night of her initiation. Hearing Cyrus stumble over Ambrose's name, she smiled. It appeared she hadn't been the only forgetful one tonight.
"Hello Ambrose! It's been ages...you're looking well." Not only had Ambrose been at Fallon's cottage party, but she and Cyrus had met him at the little Irish pub that night they had gone there. None of them had really spoken much, but Fallon was glad to see Ambrose again, none the less.
Giving Ambrose a hug, Fallon then turned to the twins at his side.
"Hello Ysabel! It's good to see you again as well. Can I assume this must be your twin, or is that a truly silly question?" The likeness was too uncanny to have the two women be anything else, but Fallon still wouldn't assume. "Thank you all for coming." And as if on cue Dave brought more leis, and Fallon put one around Ambrose's neck, as well as Ysabel's and her sister's.
Love Abounds at Ger Kogji
Fallon had reverted to chewing on her cuticles, and had her right index finger in her mouth at that precise moment. The invitations had been mailed, and in her mind everyone who was anyone...anyone she considered friends or family...had been invited. Now the night of the party was upon them, and it was just a matter of waiting to see if those who had 'RSVP'd' would actually show.
Of course a blanket invitation had been sent to her Anantya brothers and sisters. They had so warmly welcomed her into their fold that she felt it was time to try and repay that kindness. She was also excited about seeing them again, as it seemed a long time since her initiation, and she had wanted to talk more to those she had met, and meet those she hadn't.
There was room for several of Cyrus' business associates, but Fallon had no clue who they might be. All that part of the inviting had been done by Suki, she imagined. For her part, in addition to Anantya, she had included:
Ana
Aishe
Alec
Fallon laughed when she looked over the guest list and realized all her friends had 'A' names...not that she was 'that' friendly with Alec, and Ana's name really was Montana...but on the list it looked kind of funny. She was going to invite Tristan, but then found out he had moved back to California. Undoubtedly that was for the best, as he had really only been food for her. However she was just slightly disappointed that Bob was still away on business. She hadn't gotten terribly close to her old neighbor, but close enough that she thought it would have been nice to see him again.
Suki had asked that a 'Wesley' be added, and Fallon was rather intrigued by that request. Maybe all her talk of dating had finally captured her friend's attention, and she looked forward to meeting the mystery man.
Of course everyone invited was urged to bring a guest, and in addition to Wesley, Fallon had to wonder if Aishe's lack of contact might have been a result of a man as well. It had been so long since the two woman had spoken, but Fallon hoped her friend had been able to resolve things with her man.
As Fallon assembled the place cards around the large table, she placed each person and their guest next to each other, but tried to also place them next to someone they might not know. Clans people she tried to spread out, since they were the largest in number, and then Ana, Aishe, Alec, and Wesley she placed among them. Standing back a bit, she gazed at the scrumptiously decorated table, and how it fit so well in the very colorful tropical setting her home had become.
The flowers had been delivered, and were being set up now, filling the house with that color and wondrous smells. Fortunately the scents weren't terribly strong...more like just a hint of something wafting on the air, which she attributed to the fantastic air system Cyrus had built into the house. Temperature, humidity, all these things could be controlled by a touch pad that still had Fallon a bit intimidated, but that did exactly what it was reported to do...keep the atmosphere in Ger Kogji fresh, and clean, and very comfortable. Even when there might be snow outside, inside Ger Kogji would be a place of tropical delight.
Her theme was something else Fallon couldn't have been happier in her choosing. Ger Kogji already had a slightly island feel with all the plants, flowers, fountains, and bamboo, but thankfully the other leathers and woods and and silks and glass stopped it from being too overpowering. There was a nice harmony throughout the home that suited Fallon, Cyrus, and Suki too, to a 'T'. She hoped that same feeling spilled onto their guests tonight.
Snapping out of her party daze, it occurred to her she really needed to start getting ready, and make sure Cyrus was as well. Though she hadn't seen Suki all day, she never worried about her housemate. If anyone had everything on the ball, Suki was it.
Dashing into their suite, Fallon began looking for Cyrus, while heading for her closet.

Ambrose

Both the twins had better manners than he did, not that Ambrose much noticed or cared. He was still trying to get his foot here and find out what the game plan would be.
He was frankly relieved when Cyrus introduced himself and didn’t seem to know him any better. Since they were on an even playing field neither of them could screw up too badly.
Ambrose casually shifted his cane to Belle’s hand temporarily so he could accept Cyrus’ hand.
“Ambrose Townsend, appreciate the invite.”
He confirmed Dayle’s introduction. A large part of that had to do with what Belle was wearing… or not wearing… but it was thoughtful to include the whole clan.
Smiling as this ‘dates’ were each presented a lei he was caught nearly off guard by Fallon. What good was perception if you didn’t use it? The hug, however, stopped him in his tracks. That was completely unexpected and made him rather docile so that placing the lei around his neck was considerably easier and didn’t meet with any protests.
“Wouldn’t have missed it, I never did get the chance to welcome you home.”

Aishe

Aishe gave Ana a little wink and swung her hips back and forth to make the grass skirt swish around her ankles. "For movies and ice cream? Anytime," she promised. "And this time I won't disappear."
She hardly thought, date or not, that she'd have to beat any man off with a stick tonight, but the debate was academic. Even had she and Kem not gotten back together she could care for no one else nearly as strongly.
They were moving away from the flow of traffic, which suited Aishe just as well, for every time she brushed against someone who was speaking she was treated to an uncomfortable burst of image and color around their heads. She hadn't told Kem about this yet, still adjusting to it herself, and at the moment it was becoming slightly overwhelming.
Whether he sensed it through the bond they shared or just wanted the closeness, Kem was by her side. He had a way of standing just behind her, quietly supportive, one hand on her shoulder lightly, and that was exactly what he was doing now as she stopped, took stock, and simply stood aside to observe, without funny colors and shapes, the cheerful people coming into the room. She saw one or two familiar faces, most notably Ambrose Townsend, who'd she'd met on two other occasions but hadn't had much of a chance to talk to. Life didn't appear to be treating him too badly, either, by the look on his face as he came in escorting two beautiful young blondes, and was subsequently hugged and lei'd by a warm, exuberant Fallon.

The invitation had been extended to all Anantya and though Alexander had yet to meet many of his kin, tonight would be most opportune.
Alexander wore a type of Polynesian dress for men called the lava lava, a rectangular piece of printed cloth tied loosely around the waist and coming down to the knees. The brown lava lava was complemented with a belt of knotted blue cord, a pair of thick black leather sandals and a loose white cotton shirt.
Lava Lava was still worn by men in Samoa, Tonga and Fiji and Alexander’s business dealings with his Pacific Island clients meant dressing appropriately and respectfully. The lava lava Alexander wore had been gifted to him during a kava ceremony in London five years ago and was about as Tropical as Alexander got.
And as this was a celebration Alexander had not come empty handed. As he waited in line to meet the evening’s host, Alexander held a rolled Tapa cloth under his left arm. He hoped Cyrus and Falloon would appreciate the gift.

Ysabel

Ysabel smiled softly at the case of mistaken identity; she didn't know Cyrus or Fallon well enough that she'd expected either one of them to be able to tell her or Dayle apart at first sight, much less second or third. To help distinguish between the two of them she dropped a pretty curtsey, gratified to know she was able to do so every bit as steadily even in her unfamiliar gown and shoes.
"Thank you so much for welcoming us to your new home," she said to them after they had been gifted with leis of fresh sweet flowers. "It's truly an honor. I hope you'll accept this token from us... a wish for good fortune for you both, together."
She held the little ceramic dish out to Cyrus, as Fallon's hands were now full of flowers, and removed the cover from the small, flowering tree even as Dayle offered her wrapped bag of bonsai goodies.
Having finished with her formalities, Ysabel felt free to answer Fallon's question and beamed openly at her Clan-sister.
"This is my twin, you're correct. The lure of dressing alike as if we were children was just too strong tonight." Glancing with amusement at Ambrose she added, "We'd thought two ladies to escort would be better than one, but you've stolen the spotlight and apparently made Ambrose's night already."
The last bit was said with a very informal and mischievous wink, a concession as to the lightheartedness of such an affair, and a little smile as if there were some secret just between women that she and Fallon and Dayle alone knew.

Fallon

Thankful Fallon caught the curtsey, she was about to address the wrong sister, but stopped herself in time.
Having a party was something Fallon was growing found of doing, and she loved being with people, but so many at one time could be a little overwhelming when you weren't used to it. Then the fact that she worried everyone would have a good time, added another layer of concern. Then the recent move, and the whole 'kitten' issue had caused her more stress than she stopped to realize. For the moment she was holding her own, but wouldn't have turned down a drink about then.
"No, you're being too kind. I'm sure Ambrose is quite happy with the lovely escorts he has. I wanted to tell you I regret we haven't made it over to visit you and your horses though. We had been meaning to call, but with the construction moving so quickly, it has pretty much taken up all our free time. We would still like to take you up on your offer though...maybe in a week or so, if you're going to be in town?"
Fallon could see more people were arriving, and another man she hadn't met yet. Looking to Cyrus, again to see if he recognized the newcomer, Fallon decided she should go welcome him.
"Please, make yourself at home...there are drinks being served at the bar in there, and hors d oeuvres, as well as in the living room. The piano room opens onto the lanai where we have a wonderful little Hawaiian group playing, and a limbo bar has been set up if you want to get a jump on the contest. Dinner will be served in about an hour."
Fallon waved her hand in the direction of the rooms as she spoke, and took the pretty pruned plant from Cyrus to place on the table next to the floral arrangement from Aishe and the doll from Ana. Patting Dayle's arm as she moved to pass by, Fallon looked to see if Cyrus was going to join her, to greet the next guest.
Taking another lei from Dave she smiled at the man in the brown 'skirt'.
"Hello, my name is Fallon." And she held the lei towards his head in offering. "Welcome to Ger Kogji."

Alex returned the infectious smile his host offered.
A pleasure to make your acquaintance,” said Alexander politely, “I am Alexander Westmoreland, but most people call me Alex. Thank you for extending your invitation to one of more recent arrivals of our Family.”
Alexander lowered his head to receive the offered lei.
He thanked Fallon and straightened once she had finished.
“I have a gift for both you and Cyrus. In celebration and for good luck.”
Alexander looked around but he had clue as to the appearance of the male that had proven worthy of Fallon’s affection and devotion.

Cyrus

Cyrus smiled as the sisters labeled themselves. That made things much easier, now he could tell who was who based on hair styles rather than fumbling about calling eacy Miss Yolgrave. At least he had not tried to name them prior. He did recall meeting Ambrose at Fallon's party but not if or what they had chatted about. Bowing to the trio as his mate made their excuses and moved to the front door to another guest.
A wide smile crossed his face. Another brave man in traditional island garb. Extending his hand to shake the newcomers he also bowed his head with respect to the man. Since Mr. Westmoreland had intimated that he was clan Cyrus wondered how new to Nachton he was.
"Welcome Alex, thank you for coming. It is good to see another man wearing a pāreu."
Behind their clanmate, Cyrus spotted his accountant Desiree coming up the courtyard from her car. She was a large woman with rich mocha colored skin and more braids than one could count containing her waist length hair. The colorful muumuu she wore was festive and she carried a bottle of wine in her hands. Returning his gaze to Alex he welcomed him in fully before bracing himself for the woman coming in quickly.
"Please make yourself welcome."
The accountant bustled up soon as the doorway cleared and flung her arms around Cyrus, almost smothering him. Her quick speach was liberal in southern twang even though she lived in Nachton for the past 20 years. "Junior you done good. Such a nice house. An wheres this woman you shackin up with? You betta maka honest women outa her soon boy."
Cyrus smiled and gently disengaged himself from the robust woman. Guiding her over a bit he placed a lei around her neck and kissed her cheek. "Miss Desiree, this is Fallon, the love of my life."
Putting Fallon's hand in his he smiled at her. "Fallon, this is Miss Desiree VonDeau the best accountant I have ever had."

Mathias chuckled as Detective Shay came to the fore. He always found her curiousity adorable, even as it concerned him.
Taking Cyrus's hand,he gave it a firm shake. In this enviroment Cyrus seemed more at peace - like a tiger in it's den perhaps. Fallon seemed familiar, until the mention of jogging helped him focus - ah yes the woman Shay had been talking to that evening a while back. Mathias bowed before Fallon, taking her hand. "Privyet, it is a honor and pleasure to meet you. Cyrus always speaks glowingly of you"
"Thank you for inviting us, so rare for us to get out and socialize with others...between Shay's work and mine, it is usually dinner and a movie at home."
In the rush to get inside, Mathias had almost forgotten the box in his arms. Handing it to Cyrus,he smiled.
"It is russian tradition to bring a gift for the housewarming. Shay and I hope you both enjoy this."

Fallon

And once again Fallon was making conversation plans with Alex for later on in the evening as she saw a woman apparently making a bee line towards Cyrus. Taking the as yet unopened gift Mathias had given Cyrus, she exchanged it for a lei he could present to the woman, and smiled at Alex before moving to join her mate and meet the woman.
Fallon hoped there might be a break in the trail of new arrivals soon, to allow her and Cyrus to move into the rest of the house and start enjoying their party. She could see Dave had a great handle on the initial welcoming, and no longer feared anyone would arrive and not be offered hospitality in the manner she intended.
Passing by Suki and her guest, Fallon winked at her friend, and gave her a hands up gesture, trying to tell her she really wanted to meet her friend, but it would be a bit longer.
"Hello Miss Desiree, I'm very happy to meet you, and must tell you I appreciate everything you do for Cyrus. Having an accountant you can trust is a major feat in this day and age, thank you."
Fallon bussed the woman lightly on one cheek, and then handed the gift Mathias had given them back to him to open. She knew he probably wouldn't have cared if she had opened it, but since Mathias and Shay were technically his guests, she thought it would more appropriate if he did. She nodded towards the Russian and his lady as the gift was exchanged for the bottle of wine Desiree had just given him.
"Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness", Fallon directed to the accountant, as she started walking to the table to set the bottle down. "Please make yourself at home." Again Fallon waved towards the living room and piano room, and for an instance felt a little like a traffic cop.
Because Cyrus was with someone he knew, Fallon didn't feel the need to rush back to his side, and instead took a few seconds to look around her at the people there. Times like this were times she literally pinched herself to show she was really awake, and not dreaming. How does one go from living as she had for some twenty plus years, to something so different in a matter of months, and not feel somewhat disconcerted. Even though all the changes had been positive, and Fallon would do nothing to change a one, feeling jarred by it all was something she couldn't stop.
[Breathe Fallon...remain calm...almost everyone invited is showing up, and everyone here already seems to be mingling well. They love the house, and Cyrus, and couldn't be nicer...dinner will go off without a hitch, and the band is perfect, and should provide a nice bit of entertainment...it's going well...stop fretting.]
Her thoughts were probably just typical hostess thoughts, and she even reminded herself of that, and it helped a lot. She could feel herself relaxing again, and smiled when she saw Aishe, Kem, and Ana talking. Soon, hopefully, she could pull Cyrus into the house with her, and join them.
But for now, she returned to Cyrus' side, took his hand, and smiled.

Shay

Shay was a little disappointed that Cyrus and Fallon had been distracted before opening the gift Alexi handed them, but hoped at some point during the evening her sweetie would be acknowledged for his gift. She considered the gift was from her as well, but since he had gone to the trouble of actually deciding on it, and then buying it, he deserved the attention for it.
"Shall we go check out the vodka, and maybe find out where the music is coming from?"
Shay took Alexi's hand and began pulling him along as she wound herself through the people towards the lilting tropical sounds.
"Wait a minute. Cyrus is a vampire? And Fallon too? And since I don't seem to recognize anyone here, can I also assume they're not Tacharans?" Had Fallon only been out for a walk the night Shay met her, or had she intended on other things? Had Alexi's appearance on the street stopped something from happening, that might have changed Shay's life forever...or even ended it?
No. Shay refused to believe Fallon was an indiscriminant biter, much less a killer. Of course Shay still held the opinion that vampires could be killers, anyone could be for that matter, but Fallon seemed genuinely too gentle for such things. Yet the night they met, Fallon hadn't looked as good as she did now. But then Shay probably hadn't either, now that she remembered what she herself had been going through.
No...Shay had finished that book and was looking to move onto other things. She loved a vampire, and lived among them now. There was no reason to think of them any differently than anyone else.
"Oh, nevermind. It's not like it makes any difference either way." Shay grinned and wrinkled her nose at Alexi, tilted her head as she moved close and brushed his lips with hers.
"I love you." She mouthed the words and then turned back towards her earlier goal and went looking for the bar.
(ooc - Mathias and Shay out to lanai thread)

In spite of all appearances to the obvious, Kem was perfectly content not to be in the spotlight, and quiet conversation with Aishe and Ana was pleasant. Aishe had gripped his hand rather tightly, and while her enthusiasm was nothing new, her clinginess actually was. Any anxiety he might have felt at being in such an out-of-character environment was forgotten as he focused on the fact that Aishe was the nervous one for some reason tonight. He knew she'd worried her friends might be upset with her for having been gone for so long, but that seemed to have been settled. What, then, was the trouble?
[Are you all right?]
The gentle question was sent as mildly as possible even as Kem turned and offered his free arm to Ana. "Shall we clear the entrance? Apparently there's a good deal more to see."
With Aishe on one side and Ana on the other, Kem steered them in the general direction of the strains of tropical instruments that floated out to them. The bar and the band seemed the two most attractive places for those wanderers who'd gone further into the house at the moment, and while Kem wouldn't have minded a drink, he knew Aishe's preferences and went with those.
Finding three seats wasn't difficult at all and he settled both ladies before taking one himself and turning to Ana with interest. "I overheard outside, Ana, and you've got me curious. You're a librarian here in Nachton? How do you like it?"
Kem had always found Nachton's library to have an astonishing number of incredibly old and rare books. Much like Meridian's archives, many researchers often contacted the Nachton Library for information on obscure topics.

She was pretty stoked - she'd managed to hit both the produce store AND the taqueria market before they had closed. With a quick change of clothes upon arrival, she'd be set. The best part was all of the strange looks she was getting from other drivers and riders. She probably was a bit of a spectacle, though, with her produce streaming out behind her along with her housewarming gift as she rode her yammy through the city.
Reaching the addy on the card, she popped off her bike and rested the gift where she had been sitting. Quickly making sure everything would be easily portable, she arranged it so she could strip and run.
"Gotta b'fuckin' 40 ou'. Breez'n't helpin'much, eitha."
Bracing for the cold, she triple checked her goods, popped the buckles on her riding boots, and ZIP! Zinged off her boots and leathers as fast as she could, revealing her swimsuit. Quickly shoving her leathers in the bag with the produce, she scooped her boots and gift and ran to the door. DAMN the ground was cold! At least it'd be warmer inside.

Ana followed Kem and Aishe towards the band. Still partially craving a drink, she realized as she sat down - just barely leaning on Aishe's shoulder in the process - that she felt the same kind of 'I don't know what to do with myself' loneliness that she'd had at Fallon's other housewarming party. Overwhelmed, too, that so many of her friends were in one place - finally! - mixed with a heap of contentedness that she finally got to so something together with them.
Even if Fallon was self-burdened with hostessing.
At first content to watch the band and listen, she turned to Kem at his questions about her position at the library. "I am, indeed. Have been for almost a year now. I've been almost permanently on the evening to early morning shift... We get a lot of interesting customers then. Point of fact, I wouldn't have met Aishe and re-met Fallon for quite some time had I not been there. It's fun, for the most part... Mrs. Penderghast can be a real banshee sometimes but she keeps mostly to herself. I've been taking my free time now and then to read various random books... Lately though," she continued, keeping her gaze upon Kem, "I parked myself in the vault to read 'The Height of the Hieroglyph Before the Age of Enlightenment.' It was an interesting book, if a bit dry in places... I never would have guessed the hieroglyph had so much history outside of the Egyptian demesne that is implied and described in that book."

Stepping out of the Aston, Amberelle took a moment to smooth down her skirt and slip her sandals on. Tonight there would be no heels, she wanted to be comfortable! Wiggling her freshly manicured toes in them, the Creole admired the tigers eye stone a moment before reaching in and gathering up the three expertly wrapped packages she had brought for her friends and their new home. Her long blonde hair was loose and had a slight natural curl to it and errant strands blew around her in the breeze. Her hand reached up to make sure the delicate baby red hibiscus"]baby red hibiscus she had pinned above her right ear was secure, which it was. Her lips curled in a smile faintly as she wondered if anyone here would get the sybolism of it. While researching what to wear, she had been adamant about wearing one of the delicate blooms after discovering it was traditional for young maidens seeking a mate to place them above their right ear. If nothing else it was one of those 'I have a secret' kind of things that would keep her smiling to herself all night long.
Pausing a few moments to take in and admire the magnificent manor, she started up the drive to wait in line to greet her clanmates.

Alexander moved past his hosts and carefully made his way through the assembled guests to a vantage point where he watch the entrance, and specifically those arriving. So far the only person he recognized here was Ambrose, and he seemed to be engaged by the company of two identical looking attractive women.
It was interesting that there were many attractive women here tonight, as there were handsome men. Alexander pondered on that. In Europe there had been more diversity, more flaws, and less emphasis on physical perfection. Perhaps that was why Alexander found himself at ease in Ambrose's company.
Alexander's train of thought was interrupted as his pale blue eyes focused on a blonde haired woman waiting in line. She was wearing a delightful tropical skirt and top ensemble. What interested him the most was the red hibiscus pinned above her right ear.
His lips parted in a thin smile. He had seen exotic Island maiden's employ the same tactic at the kava ceremonies he had attended in London while conducting business with his Fijian clients.
Bravo, Alexander thought, a suitably inspired touch. He nodded at the blonde haired woman and smiled slightly in appreciation.
Cyrus has mentioned something about entertainment and bar facilities. Alexander moved through the gathered patrons and headed off to get a drink.

Shaking her head a little in disbelief, Fallon giggled when she saw the two women walking up to the foyer door. Dave had taken over the dispensing of the leis, and was now offering them to the guest when they entered.
First came Dawn, the slightly kooky sounding girl Fallon remembered from the initiation, and behind her was the much more sedate but striking Amberelle, who she met the same night.
"Dawn! Welcome...come in, come in. You look a bit chilled dear." And though she tried not to look, it was difficult not to notice the top of Dawn's bathing suit. It was one of the most lovely suits Fallon had ever seen, and she was a little envious, but it was Dawn herself that made such a 'pointed' statement in the suit.
Enveloping the now 'lei'd' girl in a hug, Fallon hoped once she warmed up inside, the lei she wore would rest more comfortably down the front of the suit.
"Thank you so much for coming. Cyrus is right there, please make yourself at home, and feel free to hit the pool if you desire, it's right through there. Dinner will be served shortly, but there's all kinds of food and drink around to tide you over in the mean time."
Fallon's two armed hug became a one armed clasp as she turned towards the crowd further in the house. The turning she enveloped Amberelle in much the same way and welcomed her to Ger Kogji as well.
"This is just great! Having so many brothers and sisters joining us tonight. I know Cyrus has to be thrilled as well. It is just marvelous that you've come."
Knowing Amberelle and Dawn had to know each other, Fallon obviously didn't introduce either.

Cyrus kept placing the gifts, unopened as there was no time, on the table holding the leis. Before the end of the evening they should open each one and thank the giver personally for their thoughtfullness. Smiling at Desiree's back he looked at the crowd slowly moving towards other rooms in the house.
"Please make yourselves at home, there is food, drink, music or activities at each location. Either various open rooms or the lanai. Thank you."
Turning his attention back to the door where Fallon stood he noted the rather boisterous presence of their blue haired clanmate. "Welcome Dawn. Please come in."
Offering her a bow he could only smile at her outfit, a black swimsuit. Well the young vampire certainly had guts to wear it. Coming up the drive was Amberelle looking lovely as always and Cyrus picked up a lei for her.
((Please feel free to edit your entrance or last post to include an out to one of the other locations, either the Lanai or the House. Thank you all for coming.))

Lingering in the hug a bit longer than necessary, Dawn shivered slightly.
"Mmmmmm...it's'a WARM Fallon...hihi. Hiya Cyrus. Oy, bettah. So kin'ah jus' leave muh gunna by th'door'r sumthin? Oh! And! Before I forget! Oh, an' hi Ambygirl!"
Opening the windowed box she'd run to the door with, Dawn pulled out a 4' Vampire pinata.
"We useta do th'whole pinata thang ou' west...dunno if y'alls like t'beat up paper Bela Lugosi ou'ere, but hey! Thought I'd offer, wha! Oh, an' I brought some pineapples for Cyrus. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. Oh, and thanks for lei'n me! WOOO!"
Giving Fallon, Cyrus and Amberelle a grin as she spun away from them, she headed over toward the hunka security guard.
"Here's mah stuff. Keepit safe an' don't smell my panties. Dirty bastard."
Before the security guard had time to say anything, she winked, turned and skipped away toward the sound of other conversations. Best let Fallon do the meeting and greeting...she wanted to get out of the draft in that front room. Felt like she was going to poke through her suit for a second! Luckily warm Fallon had saved the day. Night. Either way, good hostess.

Waiting in line behind what could only be Dawn, the hair was a giveaway, and also who else would be wearing simply a swimsuit in the midst of winter? That part had the blonde shaking her head softly. It was quite nippy out. Or in her clanmate's case she was willing to bet it was "nipplely". Glancing at the several guests that had already arrived she caught a smile from one rather tall and handsome attendee and returned it while she willed herself not to blush.
Exchanging gifts for a lei, she adjusted the fragrant flowers and her hair just in time. With a lighthearted laugh and a smile she returned Fallon's hug and greeting. Amberelle liked her 'sister' and was pleased for her and her mate, Ger Koji was a beautiful home and there seemed to be a great turnout for its christening. Her eyes widened a little at the pinata Dawn produced but it didn't suprise her in the least. Apparently, she mused to herself, she was adjusting to her California born cousin's more eccentric ways.
Quite used to reception lines from all of her years of society, the Creole expressed her thanks to her hostess and moved away, reminding herself there would be time later to check on how her fellow feline was adjusting to her new life and to catch up on all of the goings-on when Fallon was not busy.
Besides, there were plenty of people here to meet. Grinning at Dawn, Amby cocker her head at her quizically. Wanna hit the bar and scope out the guys?
((Out to the bar, pending Dawn's response))
