A Lesson in...Communication. (attn: Amir)
Thrilled, did not even begin to describe what Dana was feeling with Amir wrapped around her body, as she drove, actually drove his bike. She had no real destination in mind and as such, simply steered around the traffic that was down town Nachton.
After a bit she felt comfortable enough to do this on her own, so at the next light she nudged Amir's arms with hers and when he let go, she took his hands and wrapped them around her torso. He had fast enough reflexes to help her avoid anything major if need be and this way she could feel his hands. She liked his hands, they were talented, soft and strong.
As traffic thinned toward the outskirts of town she saw the signs for the Park and Nature Preserve. It conjured images of their first meeting and a small smile curled her lips. This was much better than heading back to the manor and one of their rooms. They would just have to remember to scurry home before the sun rose. She glanced quickly at the delicate watch on her wrist, they had rather a lot of time before that would become a dire issue.
She steered them into the Preserve and with some little searching found the same little parking area where she'd first ridden on the back of his bike.
"This seems as good a classroom as any." She grinned at him over her shoulder, as she settled the bike into a slot and cut off the engine.
Still, the windy bike ride had done nothing to cool the fire Dana had already kindled inside. His hunger fed it, for sure, but it did not consume it. For now, desire was just as strong a feeling so he enjoyed the closeness and let his hands do some exploring of their own while Dana guided the bike to a stop.
He didn't immediately get off the bike, instead wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close, her back to his chest.
"It does?" He peered over her shoulder out to the acreage of the Preserve. He hadn't been so sure she'd take his words literally, but he'd promised.
"Of course" Dana pressed back into him, her body flush with the line of his, and leaned her head back on his shoulder. She was dimly aware that this was the third time she'd offered him her neck, and she wondered if he was in need of sustenance. She'd fed only two nights prior and was not in need of a meal, though would not turn one down. It was strangely startling to her how often she needed to eat since coming to Nachton. She supposed it was from the frequent sparring session, as well as her much more active lifestyle. Not that she was a slouch before coming to Nachton, but more that now she was constantly doing something.
She turned her head slightly and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. "The question is, what would you like to learn?"
"I have many things yet to learn," he mused, not letting the subject matter deter him from filling his hands with her delightful curves, or his nose with the light sweet scent of her hair. "I hadn't had one specific one in mind tonight."
As she leaned back against him, the moonlight caught the flash of her pale throat and he once more was drawn to it. He hadn't considered Dana a food source since that night down on the beach, but tonight he was ravenous. Normally he'd have taken care of himself before being with her, but they hadn't spent much, if any, of the night apart and there had been no opportunity.
Feeding from another vampire was ideal, but Amir generally limited himself to those of other Clans or no Clan at all, and those meals were few and far between. He had provided for a Clanmate on occasion, and had been provided for as well, but those sorts of things had diminishing returns. What was taken would need to be replenished. Still, Dana's neck was so very close, and tempting. His breath caught in his throat as his hands tightened around her waist.
"Dana," Amir whispered very softly, so close was he to her neck and ear, "do you want me to...?"
Was she offering? The euphoria of a bite was usually unmatched and he and Dana had certainly begun their relationship on such intimate terms. She had bared her neck to him several times tonight, and while normally he would have thought little of it, right now he was aware that he was looking at her through somewhat biased, and starving, eyes. He didn't want to misinterpret her signals simply because he was experiencing tunnel vision on the topic.
But oh, a snack would be nice just now.
She felt his breath stutter against her neck, and his fingers tighten on her hips. The sensation caused her own breath to pick up its pace and for her eyes to shutter closed. His voice was like silk as he asked her a question she had not expected, yet had at the same time.
Did she want him to bite her? Perhaps she had sensed his hunger and had offered herself unknowingly. The question brought the night that had brought her here again, to the forfront of her mind. He had been the only other vampire to bite her since her turning nearly nine centuries ago. Difficult to believe, but Lady Erin had never taken sustenance from her again and the only other vampire lover she'd had was Sebastian, and he had a very weird view on what was acceptable food.
She concluded that yes indeed she did want Amir to bite her again. It was like nothing she had ever felt before and she was eager to feel it again.
"Please." It was the only answer she could come up with, and it's whispered escape from her lips was breathy and pleading. She was not ashamed of that, though she rather wished she'd found more eloquent words than that.
Not the most romantic venue, although the grassy slope that led to the beach and, eventually, the sea, were just before them... but there was no one here right now. Even if there were, no one would assume it was anything but a little harmless necking.
Dana's whispered request was a catalyst. Amir's arms were wrapped around her upper body; his legs and thighs were pressed to hers as they sat. It was a matter of centimeters and will power, and Dana had requested him to forego both.
Tipping his head down he gently pierced her skin, as he had just once before, this time prepared for the warmth and richness that flowed forth. Something in him cried out happily to be fed and he closed his eyes to the shivers of satisfaction the act caused, every time. A vampire could get spoiled like this. Dana's blood was richer by far than any human's, full of life and vibrancy.
Amir's hands moved deftly over Dana's body as he drank, softly caressing, gently stroking. His pleasure was different than hers but no less enjoyable.
His lips seemed to be attached to a direct line to her groin, as each pull of her life's blood caused her inner most places to tighten and tingle. The touch of his hands sent tiny shock waves through her body and she soon became a mass of sensation and need.
Her hands had moved to rest on his knees and as desire grew in her, her fingertips tightened. She wanted to touch so much more of him, but was content to feel him pressed against her back.
"This is not good enough," he said, his voice somewhat unsteady. Hearing it unnerved him slightly; he clearly wasn't himself right now. Who could be, though, with Dana right there, looking like that, responding like that?
With a wrenching sensation akin to physical pain he broke the contact with her and stood away from the bike some, one hand held out. "We should go somewhere. Anywhere. Not here. Unless you don't..."
Amir gestured quickly to the parking lot. Even empty as it was, it was an unsatisfying venue for what he wanted, what they wanted. By giving her some distance he was offering to halt where they were. If she didn't want this to continue she could stay where she was. He would eventually calm himself and bring her back home.
If she went with him though, they could undoubtedly find someplace better suited to this sort of act than right there on the asphalt. Either way it was all or nothing right now. He wasn't willing to settle for middle ground. Amir had been restrained and polite with Dana for most of their association out of respect for her emotions but tonight was different. Tonight she had brought out something much more feral in him, and he wasn't about to see it restrained until it was satisfied.
His words confused her, and his moving from her only added to it. Had she done something wrong? Oh gods, she just wanted him to do that again, and he no longer wanted her. Tears sprang quickly and unbidden to her eyes, but remained a shining pool over sky blue, when he spoke again.
A smile curled her lips and she jumped from the bike, though a bit too quickly and wobbled on her feet a moment. She put her small hand in his and began to walk toward the beach. She recalled a grassy little area that was concealed by a jut of rock on one side and the rounded earth of the hillside on the other. It was not a large bit of space, but she had no plans of being very far from Amir any time soon.
It was to there she led him, her boots crunching over the asphalt, and swhooshing nearly silently through the sand. Upon their arrival, she lifted an eyebrow in question at him, as she did not trust her voice to not shake and wobble at the moment.
Dana's hand was warm in his own as she led them down the slope toward the beach. He didn't look at her; he kept his eyes downcast or looked straight ahead. It wasn't until she halted their progress and asked without words that he met her eyes once more.
They were in a secluded, grassy nook. It was shielded from view by anyone who might be wandering across the beach, although they would be discovered if someone came across the grass above. There had been no one in sight, though, and Amir was reasonably sure they were alone.
Shrugging out of his jacket he spread it down on the grass and knelt, tugging Dana along with him. Capturing her pale eyes with his own, dark and deep, he cupped her face between his hands and kissed her. Not a slow, smoky kiss, not tonight. Tonight his caress was far more urgent. His tongue gently parted her lips and he tasted her breath as it mingled warmly with his. His fangs pressed insistently against her mouth and he was careful not to nick her, but the temptation was strong.
Tonight, he was something different entirely.
Carefully, gently she pulled away from him, as her hands moved to the top button of the green blouse she wore, and with her gaze still firmly transfixed by Amir's she slid the tiny pearl through its hole.
She kept his gaze as her fingers moved to the next button, her body vibrated with the need of him, but her lack of experience in this area kept her movements slow. Of course instinct told her that this man was no longer just her lover and friend, but had become the predator they all were deep inside and she did not wish to provoke him. Though some small part of her, wanted to rip through the cotton of his shirt and place lip and fang to the flesh there.
Sliding his hand around to the back of her neck he leaned forward and pulled her gently, too, his free hand resting on her shoulder beneath her shirt. He dipped his head and made a trail of teasing, nibbling kisses that followed the same path his fingers had just created, sliding the thin fabric of her top away as he did.
This was new to him. Hunting, feeding from humans, was not a sexual experience. He could no more countenance that than the average human could accept bestiality. It was the same to him. Food was not to be played with in that manner. This was entirely different, though. This was Dana sharing something with him that he didn't think either one of them had expected or even thought much about until now. He had not done it with Subira, and he had rarely bitten any of his clanmates except under needful circumstances where physical pleasure was far from mind.
Amir growled softly deep in his throat; if Dana took any longer he might tear the shirt from her in his impatience.
"Dana," he whispered, forcing the word through gritted teeth. "You're still killing me."
The words were ragged, as if torn from his lips. He managed to pull back and flash her a feral grin which, if not totally 'him', at least had some aspects of his more restrained personality in it. He didn't want to be rough with Dana. he didn't want to frighten her. But, hell, Amir himself hardly knew this side of his personality. it would have to be contemplated. Analyzed. But not just now.
Lips parted to accommodate the soft panting of her breath, as her tremor burdened fingers moved on. Her head tilted slightly, and she wondered briefly if she had a death wish. She did not think Amir would ever hurt her, but self preservation refused to listen to logic from time to time.
His words frightened and thrilled her and she was aware that she still had three of the nine buttons of the shirt to go. It annoyed her slightly that she had counted those little pearls, but not enough to dwell upon it. His grin/baring of teeth only increased that frightened thrill and caused her fingers to make quick if fumbling work of the remaining buttons.
Her eyes closed in a slow blink as those fingers slid up the fabric, to push it gently from her shoulders, baring her body to Amir. She was suddenly quite glad she did not wear bras, she owned them and when they were absolutely necessary she would put one on. But, her breasts were young and firm and needed no such support.
Pale blue met pitch black as her lids opened to complete their blink. Her lips curled up into a small smile, as she watched him. It was strange this sharing they were doing, she had never thought to offer herself in such a way and was intrigued to see where this would lead for them.
Turning to place his back against the slope of the hillside, Amir flexed his arm and easily lifted Dana so she sat astride his hips. He'd have had to be completely incoherent to miss her apprehension; not fear, exactly, at least he didn't think so, but he wasn't so far gone as to ignore it. He wrapped his arms around her and drew her down to him, shielding her against any chill while he tilted his head, upwards this time, to place soft kisses intermingled with nips and bites along the side of her neck, across her jaw, finally reaching her sweet lips once again. Every taste was better than the last; every touch just added fuel to the already brightly-burning blaze within.
For the next few moments though, he returned to himself a bit and made love to Dana, gently, carefully, eager to complete what they had begun but reluctant to do so at the expense of her enjoyment and comfort. He had his quarry; the hunter could exercise a small amount of self-restraint. He was in control again. For the moment.
That texture moved around her waist and pulled her close to her hunter. Amir turned and settled her so that her knees rested on either side of his hips, she too enjoyed this placement of their bodies, not as much as others, but much more than some. It was with some large relaxation that she rested against his chest, the comfort of skin to skin contact doing much to still her pattering heart.
Her fingers ceased their trembling and as their kiss deepened, her hips pressed against his. Her hand, no unburdened, began to move over his chest and sides.
Once more she pulled back from him, this time offering him a smile. It was her turn to kiss and nibble and she began in that favored spot of where jaw meets throat.
Amir's eyelids slid half-closed and he gave a little hum of satisfaction as he felt her breath tickle its way across his skin. Like a cat, he arched his back toward her, tilting his head and offering her the tanned expanse of his neck to traverse. His hands, around her hips, slid lower still, following the curve of her buttocks down to rest on her thighs momentarily before moving back and forth.
His lips curled up, baring elongated fangs that gleamed in the moonlight as his mouth opened slightly. If they kept up this slow torture, he would be panting every bit as much as Dana was. The predator inside was still coiled, still waiting to be let loose, but for the moment Amir was free to enjoy Dana's touch.
She got to the nob of his collar bone and let the tip of her delicate fang scrape against the small protrusion of bone. A grin curled her lips at the noise he made, before she moved to the hollow of his throat, trailing tiny nibbling kisses up the arched line of his throat, along the underside of his jaw.
The smile on her lips changed a little as her eyes took in his face. Breath caught in her throat, and something strange moved in her. It defied description for the moment, and she would take the time to analyze it later. For now she gave into what was happening this morning, swallowed hard against anything negative rising in her throat, and moved her lips close to Amir's ear.
"Take me where you need to go." The whispered words were not exactly what she'd wanted to say, but she was certain he would understand what she meant.
Dana mattered to him. This sort of thirst, this kind of predatorial urge, he wouldn't have had a problem letting it run its course on a human. But on Dana? The hungry demon within growled, and Amir felt the breath in his throat as he echoed the noise softly. Dana was too close. Her lips were too near his ear; her tiny fangs grazed his skin too lightly. It was ridiculously sensuous; more so than anything he could remember.
He reached for her and something inside snapped. He willed his hands to be gentle, gentler, as he hurriedly removed any barrier of clothing that stood between them. In a little corner of his mind, the borderline obsessive-compulsive pointed out that he should lay the items neatly to the side, and to his credit, he tried. They were off to the side, at any rate.
Amir lifted Dana, held her tightly against him, and resettled her carefully in the curve of the hillside to lie naked beneath the shining moon. His hands smoothed every inch of pale, soft skin. He lay beside her, pinning her with one leg, exploring anew with every sense. Each one stood out sharply; the feel of her skin, the taste, her light scent, even the tiny sounds she made.
That was enough. Why it should hit him so hard, he didn't know. Amir had few answers and wasn't in the right frame of mind to solve this particular puzzle. He made a soft sound, deep in his throat, a sigh and a moan wrapped up, and hardly recognized it as his own. Carefully, he cupped Dana's face between shaking hands, kissed her a little more forcefully than he'd intended, and ducked his head down. Piercing the skin at the side of her neck with his fangs, he slid himself onto her, joined with her, and drank her in in every sense.
It was more than he'd intended but exactly what he wanted.
The gentle Amir she knew worshiped her body, her eyes drank him in as the sun's pale sister shone her light on them. It changed his skin in small ways and her own fingers explored all that she could touch. She was enveloped in him, and was beginning to wonder just what had frightened her so much.
His shaking fingers startled her, as he cupped her face. The kiss was feral in a way she'd never known before and she could do nothing but open herself to him. Then all too soon it was over.
Dana's back arched, her fingers dug into the flesh of his back, and her mind wast lost to her as things she had never felt flooded it, took it over and made her hyper-aware of her body. A startled cry caught in her throat, wrapping itself inside the moan that rumbled further down.
Something snapped in her, and that thing that had moved in her just a moment ago, moved again. It opened her mouth and set tiny fangs to the hollow just above his collar bone. It was not a place that was rich in blood, but there was enough to fill her mouth with him.
She found a small glimpse of heaven as the spicy richness coated her tongue.
Her fangs dug into his flesh in return and he closed his eyes to the sensation, to her, still poised and ready for - he wasn't sure what. Amir just knew he didn't want to open his eyes at that moment. He leaned against Dana, encouraging her to drink, to bite harder if it would help, a knot of heat in his chest that was uncomfortable. Even as he felt satiated, fulfilled, and whole, the knot wouldn't go away.
He'd been far faster, far rougher, with her than he should have been. He'd taken what she'd offered knowing full well she hadn't even been completely aware of what she was offering. Feeling Dana's body begin to relax, he tried to do the same. His eyes stayed closed, though. He didn't want to open them and see her face full of fear, or anger, or regret.
"I'm sorry," he said softly, two words that rarely, if ever, passed his lips. "Dana, I'm sorry."
Amir moved his hands but didn't pull away. Carefully, finally back in control of himself as the satisfied predator within curled up for a nap, he held Dana close. In a moment he would open his eyes and face her properly, deal with his actions and their consequences. Whatever they were.
The weight of his body began to relax her, and she felt her tightly wound predator try to do the same. His words startled, surprisingly annoyed her, and softened her all at once. He knew his actions were... had been frightening to her, but he did not know what else they had done.
"Shh, shh." Heated fingers moved along his skin, comforting, reassuring. "There is no room for sorrow here, mo chuisle."
She wanted to see his face, but would not force it, he would look upon her when he was ready. She wasn't sure what to do or say next, but she had to let him know that she regretted nothing of what had just transpired. While she understood little, it was something she would cherish.
