Ger Kogji Party - Lanai

Now that you have entered the party and been greeted at the door, please feel free to step out onto the lanai. This is essentially a huge glass walled room where the pool, spa, koi pond and many seating arrangements are. There is a bar set up near the seating with a very helpful bartender named Frank making just about anything you could ask for. There is a tropical band playing in one of the larger open areas near the limbo pole.

The area is lush with plants, lit with tiny lights creeping up the support beams and in the water features. The pool houses several floating blooms at the moment so swimming would be frowned upon. There are two security guards dressed to match Dave manning the door off the lanai. Both are tall, muscular and vampire. Pestering either of them, Gestal or Stephan, seems like a daunting task. Thank you.

((This thread is for the party guests that wish to make their ways out into the warm porch to enjoy the sights, sounds and scents.))

Kem`Raaisu 18 years ago
Kem was hardly about to turn down the bar in favor of a limbo stick. He relinquished his hold on Aishe to let her go with Fallon and Ana, and accompanied Cyrus to the bar where, beer in hand, he could keep a hawk's eye on proceedings. And coconuts.

"Safe is the operative word," he noted to Cyrus. "These things have a way of drawing unwilling souls in. I'm not willing to do that until I can't see straight."

Losing your inhibitions was one thing... willingly walking into a situation such as that was another altogether. And, as he glanced down at his shirt, Kem was pretty sure he'd gone to the limits of silliness already tonight.
Aishe 18 years ago
Propelled along by Fallon as they swooped down to add Ana to their flock, the three of them comfortably, happily, together, Aishe lost no time in hopping on line behind Fallon. Carefully gathering the fronds of her grass skirt up in one hand she followed suit, bending backwards, having an easier time than fallon even, owing to her shorter height.

Sliding easily under the lowered bar, Aishe straightened back up and gave a little twirling flourish before turning to watch Ana.

Ana nodded at Fallon's question, feeling a trifle silly at her tears but glad that her friend was amiable and accepting of their happening, she sighed gently. "Very much so. You continue to amaze me with your talents, Fallon."

As she wiped her face clear - or what she hoped was clear, considering the lack of mirror - Fallon spun away from her towards the limbo bar. Ana clapped along with the song softly; when her friend stood up she clapped louder, signalling her appreciation for the start of a good game.

Watching Aishe gave her a bit of a good idea of how to manage the bar with her sarong. The bar wasn't yet low enough to require too much leg spread, so the librarian simply leaned her knees forward while tilting her torso back, crossing the limiter of the limbo bar. Standing up after she passed, she giggled.
"And it's not going to get easier than that!"
Amberelle DeEspionne 18 years ago
She had been in the powder room, but had been able to hear a snipit of Fallon's song faintly. 'So much love between those two,' she thought smiling to herself in the mirror. 'I hope for their sake that eternity doesn't change that!' It had only taken a couple of minutes to freshen up and now with her makeup touched up Amby stepped back into the lanai in time to see Fallon make her way under the limbo bar. A wide grin spread across her face and she moved over to join them.

After the third girl whose name Amby didn't think she knew had finished, the blonde give their hostess a hopeful look. May I join the fun?
Fallon 18 years ago
Seeing Amberelle approach, Fallon went to the woman's side and took her arm.

"Of course you may join! Anyone...EVERYONE, can play!! Come on people!"

Fallon released Amberelle, and watched. She hoped others would get caught up in the moment, though she didn't hold out much hope for Cyrus, or even Kem, for that matter. Then too, she thought it fun having an audience, especially when one was the man of her heart. She only hoped she would be able to provide him with some amusement, while she enjoyed herself.
Amberelle DeEspionne 18 years ago
Fallon's mood was infectious the Creole had decided. Giggling some, she moved around to the limbo pole. Letting her body move to the beat some, Amby was used the dancing as a way to loosen herself up before sliding gracefully under the still rather high pole. Once through she clapped happily and moved over to join the other women.

I do hope we can avoid a wardrobe malfunction.. eyeing Aishe she made a look that said it seemed doubtful. Giving a small one shoulder shrug, she dismissed the thought. Oh! the blonde turned towars the one face she wasn't familiar with and introduced herself. Hi, I'm Amberelle..
Fallon 18 years ago
Bouncing a little on the balls of her feet, in time with the lively Hawaiian sound, Fallon giggled as she watched Amberelle follow behind Ana, and clapped as each woman was successful in their moves beneath the bamboo rod.

Watching a couple more people slide under the pole, and then the two stocky Hawaiian men who stood alongside, lower the pole a notch, Fallon readied herself for her next attempt.

This time her movement had a little more shimmy in it, as she passed underneath the rod and was careful not to let it skim across her breasts or nose. All the while Fallon silently thanked Cyrus for his earlier request of her, and she vowed to thank him privately later.

She really didn't have much difficulty clearing the rod this time, but knew the next try would be a lot slower, and possibly less graceful. When she knew she hadn't bumped anything this time she looked for Cyrus, gave him a quick 'thumbs up' and then got back in line, laughing with her friends.
Aishe 18 years ago
Aishe flashed Amberelle a grin as the blonde joined them and took her turn under the limbo pole, clapping for both her and Ana as they made their way under before rejoining Fallon to have another try.

It was still fairly easy. The slightly taller Fallon had to wiggle a bit to get under, but it wasn't yet at a terribly challenging height. For Aishe it was still simple enough, and she continued to hold her grass skirt in her hands, happy for the little pink boyshort-style bikini underneath. Her tatami sandals she kicked aside after that one; she didn't want to slip next time she went through.

Spotting Kem at the bar next to Cyrus she winked at him saucily and gave a little shimmy in preparation of the next attempt.

[You sure you don't want to try it?]

She laughed at the responding, [Someone's got to keep your coconuts in place,] and hurried to stick close to Fallon, joining the growing crowd of limbo-goers as they cheered along with the music.
Ambrose 18 years ago
Well that limbo stick wasn’t just for looks Ambrose mused as the entered the lanai. In fact, it looked like a few of the guests were having a fine time. Odd it only seemed to be the women, not that he was going to complain.

Some how he was equally certain that it wasn’t something Belle had ever done, no matter how flexible he knew her to be. Maybe some light persuasion was in order.

“I think you ought to play. Looks like fun doesn’t it?”

His grin had a slight leer too it, not much just a hint that suggested that his comment wasn’t totally innocent.
Ysabel 18 years ago
Although she knew Ambrose's suggestion was made largely in jest, Ysabel still pursed her lips and gazed pensively at the limbo stick for a moment. Would it be rude of her to decline playing such a game? She was familiar with it of course, but she had never participated. She didn't want to seem stand-offish, and she certainly wanted to join in anything her clan-sister had organized for her party.

Finally, with a sort of unaccustomed shyness she made her way slowly toward the growing group of people, thinking to just join the ones who were clapping and half-dancing on the outskirts. Belatedly she realized that the crowd was slowly revolving toward the pole, and those clapping in the back would soon be up front limbo-ing.

Casting a slightly forlorn look back at Ambrose, whose leer had only grown wider, if anything, Ysabel allowed herself to be reluctantly pushed gently forwards with the rest of the limbo-goers and when there was no one else to hide behind, approached the bar. Gathering her skirt in one hand as several other women were doing, she arched backwards, feeling ungainly and very not-delicate or ladylike, and did her best to slide under the bar as prettily as she had seen Amberelle do it just a moment ago. Certain she hadn't exactly managed with as much grace as she would have liked, she nonetheless emerged with a little smile and allowed herself to be moved right along with everyone else again, for another go.

She was a perfectionist, after all... if she was going to limbo, she may as well do it properly!
Cyrus 18 years ago
Cyrus watched the game with horrified amusement. Amused that the ladies all seemed happy and cute while performing and horrified at the thought of this being a common place thing or something he would have to do. His particular skills probably would make it very easy even with a low bar but that might be considered cheating. Shaking his head he made comment, more just a general statement that had the bartender grinning.

"While the view is good, I dont think I will join in."

Fallon had just made her way under the bar which was quite interesting to watch. Still he stood at the bar sipping his drink watching the dancers, just in case they needed a little lift or wardrobe assistance. He was not the best at small talk but he gave it a shot since these were his mate's friends.

"So Kem, you and Aishe must be close for that shirt to have happened."
Fallon 18 years ago
It was absolutely thrilling for Fallon to watch as so many people joined in the game, even if almost all of them were women. Standing next to Ana and Aishe she put an arm around each woman's waist, pulling them close.

"Thank you so much, you two, for helping make tonight such a blast. It just wouldn't have been the same without you." Looking from one woman to the other, Fallon couldn't contain her smile, and even got a little teary eyed from the love that welled up inside her. "I'd ask one of you to pinch me, because I'd swear I'm dreaming, but then I don't want to lose the dream either. Imagine...married...again...me. But this time...this time the man loves me for me, and doesn't want to change me, or use me. Oh shoot! Listen to me go on, will you?" Making a dismissive sound, Fallon let go of the women, and moved to the limbo bar, ready to take another pass.

The bar was lowered about four inches each time the pegs were moved, and at this point it was going to be difficult for Fallon to make her way underneath clearly. Looking over her shoulder at her friends, and then Cyrus, she grimaced a bit, but then smiled and turned her attention back to the game.

Taking a deep breath, Fallon began leaning backwards, and tucked her skirt over and between her legs. Arms out from her sides for balance, she inched her way beneath the bamboo, going slower and slower as it neared her breasts. Exhaling, and trying desperately not to laugh, she watched as the bar came closer and closer to her body. Seeing she would need to lean back even more, to clear her nose, Fallon did so, but lost her balance and her arms began flailing. As if divine intervention, she only stumbled for a second before she was righted, and made her way through the poles. Standing upright as soon as she could she clapped furiously, and laughed, but put her hand to her back where she thought she still felt a warm caress.

Looking up at Cyrus, Fallon blew him a kiss, and assumed it was his attention that stopped her from falling. She would ask him about it later, but for now she returned to watch the next person make their attempt, and figured the game was nearing its end.
Kem`Raaisu 18 years ago
Kem hadn't expected it to be so difficult to keep his eyes off Aishe. He warred with himself internally for a moment, his conscience insisting he was quite innocently being the Coconut Patrol. That lasted for all of about five seconds as Aishe slipped under the bar and he found himself staring with frank admiration at the play of muscles across her belly and thighs.

This game was evil. No doubt about it. It had to have been invented by women for the sheer purpose of torturing male onlookers. It didn't help that Aishe was built quite delightfully for exactly such a game; a good deal more muscular than most women but still maintaining her pretty curves. Her active lifestyle and her hobbies had done more than add tone. His girlfriend had a respectable six-pack!

He boggled at that idea a moment before he realized Cyrus was speaking to him. With a soft chuckle, he agreed wholeheartedly with the "just looking" sentiment and then responded to the next question.

"The shirt... I'm atoning for my sins." He turned to the man and his smile became slightly rueful. "Long story short - we were very close, I screwed it up, she straightened me out, and now that by some miracle I've managed to not scare her off I plan to do exactly as you have done and not let her escape again."

Not that she'd 'escaped' before; far from it, but it was a figure of speech and the sentiment was the same.
Aishe 18 years ago
Aishe couldn't help but laugh and hug Fallon back, shaking her head as her friend chided herself and slipped beneath the limbo bar again. With a grin, she gave Ana a quick hug herself and said, "We're going to have to convince her she's not dreaming somehow." Stretching briefly, like a swimmer about to make a dive, she then eyed the lowered limbo bar and made her way to it again.

She was actually enjoying the stretch as she bent backwards. Keeping her chin up she watched her own progress. As the bar lowered she had to adjust her center of balance; it was low enough now that her knees bent slightly, keeping her feet squarely underneath her body rather than out in front. As her chest reached the bar she tipped her chin back, ducked down even further, and felt her hair sweep the floor. She grabbed at it with the arm that didn't have her skirt in it, gathered it up, and saw the bar behind her now as her head passed under as well. Dropping her hair and her skirt again she let her abs do the work of lifting her whole bady back upright, from the bottom up. Fluffing her hair back out over her shoulders she jumped at Fallon, hugging the woman from behind, and gave her a tiny pinch on her arm.

"See? Not a dream! You're going to be a beautiful wife, Fallon!"
Montana 18 years ago
Ana squidged into the embraces offered by both Fallon and Aishe. Remaining characteristically silent as she watched the play between her friends, she simply kept her smile wide - as the joy in her dictated.

She watched Aishe for a moment when she began her next run under the stick, and then glanced over at Kem, to see his eyes practically glued to his girlfriend. Watching him speak - his lips moved so fluidly, no doubt a product of having used them for so long, with so many languages - she picked up something perhaps she wasn't supposed to, but it warmed her and gave her a thrill of a secret just the same. 'Some miracle vv managed not to scare her I plan to do zackly ass you have done and not let her scrape her shin.' Shaking her head minutely, Ana reviewed those last few motions in her head. Maybe he said 'escape again?' Blinking her eyes wide she wondered if that would really be something that Kem would do in her lifetime...

When Aishe returned and pinched Fallon, Ana giggled and gently tweaked (not pinched) Aishe in the same place.
"She's already beautiful, silly, she'll just become a wife. So she'll be a beautiful and wifey Fallon!"

(( permission to read lips from Kem by kem for kem and with Kem's permission. yeah. ))
Fallon 18 years ago
For someone who had experienced next to no love in her life before, Fallon really did often find herself thinking perhaps she was living a dream. When Aishe pinched her, and Fallon could again allow herself to believe everything around her was real, she felt completely overwhelmed. Needing something to ground herself, Fallon put arms around her two closest friends, and held on. Left alone she would have remained equally happy, but would have certainly melted into a puddle of tears again. So ill equipped to handle such happiness, she had no choice but to push some of it aside, and think of other things.

One day, when she and Cyrus had been together for several years, Fallon hoped she wouldn't be so emotional, and would learn how to deal with things in life on a less passionate plane. But since everything had come upon her in such a rush, these past few months, she just hadn't had time to figure that part out yet.

"Oh YOU two are just silly. If I'm beautiful, it's because I've got the love of a wonderful man, and two brilliant friends around me. You just don't know...how much of me has come to be, since I met you both...and Cyrus. If you were to meet the Fallon of ago, I'd guarantee neither of you would recognize me, nor would you wish to. I was such a...small little mouse. What I've become, since coming to Nachton, is a direct result of meeting you three, and learning from you."

Fallon snuggled close to her friends, and watched the others play the limbo game, as she talked. She doubted she could adequately convey just how much Aishe and Ana meant to her, and had truly helped mold her into who she was now. She didn't think Cyrus really believed her either, and she told him nearly every day. But if she had to tell him every day to come, and her two girlfriends as well, she would.

Except...now that Aishe had become a true sister, she would have forever to do so. With Ana, things were still different. Turning and giving her young friend a tender smile, Fallon turned back and rested her head on Ana's shoulder, and pulled her closer. Fallon didn't love Ana any more, or less than Aishe, but she needed to treat her and consider her differently. Ana's time with Fallon was borrowed, so Fallon would have to work a little more accelerated, and ardently to convince her.

"I believe, Ms. Montana Kensington, it is now your turn?"
Montana 18 years ago
Ana leaned onto the teacher's shoulder and, with her arm wrapped around Fallon, affectionately patted Aishe's side as the newly engaged waxed poetic.

Wax on, wax off.

It was with extreme reluctance that Ana looked up at Fallon when suggested that she go take her turn. 'Kinda really don't wanna,' she thought, but instead said,
"Fine but we go back to massive hugging when the three of us all finally get our asses out together. As well as the rest of us, too."

Giving a sideways hug to both her friends she walked on the balls of her feet over towards the line. When it was her turn, she moved forward, shuffling slowly, leaning backwards carefully. Seeing her breasts were about to come in contact with the bar, she blew out her breath as forcefully as she could and bent lower, pushing her knees forward a little at the same time. When she was eye level with the bar, she tilted her head back, took another step past, and when she cleared it, snapped her head forward and nearly stumbled as she righted herself.

Stepping out of the way of the next approaching player she arched a brow and twisted her hands in a sort of 'tah dah!' motion and rejoined her friends.
Ambrose 18 years ago
Ambrose watched amused as Belle was swept up in the limbo line. It didn’t look like that had been her first thought but she did quite well. It wasn’t a bad spectator sport he decided, so he found his way to the bar, he hadn’t officially congratulated his host yet either and now seemed as good a time as any.

“Cyrus,” He offered his hand “Congratulations. Best of luck to you both.”

He offered a nod to the tall gentleman standing with him.
Cyrus 18 years ago
Cyrus took the last few sips of his drink as Kem explained the shirt. He nodded understandingly before placing it down on the bar, waving off the refill.

"I was shocked to learn that women are the best for 'straightening out' us men. Hadn't even thought that there was anything too horribly wrong until Fallon showed me what it could be."

The women seemed to really enjoy this activity as well as eachother. Though he was unsure just how much lower they could all go. Fallon didn't need to worry but Ana was only human. Cyrus made sure to watch her and help out should something go awry, even if all he did was cushion her fall. The muscular Aishe made her way under with grace and dexterity impressing him greatly.

"This is quite the entertaining spectator sport isnt it?"
Thaddeus Grey 18 years ago
Having walked onto the lanai in the middle of Fallon playing a romantic ballad, Thaddeus did his best to remain unobtrusive and stay at a vantage point where he could crowd watch. Mai had indicated a need to leave soon and he hoped that she would be able to catch their hosts to say goodbye, but he was certainly not sorry to linger and hear the performance. He was, however, sorry that Palmer had missed it, as his friend especially enjoyed contemporary music.

He could not say that he had any regrets about Palmer missing the business with the limbo, as the huntsman would most certainly have made a spectacle of himself. Although he had to admit, that would be an interesting contest, pitting his fencing grace against his friend’s inherent agility. He shook his head, wondering which of the gentleman would be brave first and thinking it most certainly wouldn’t be him, and looked down to Mai to see what she made of all of this.

/ooc Thaddeus and Mai in!
